[QUOTE="cain006"]Uh so? They could sell it for $20 and Nintendo would still make significant profit. It's gonna sell that well. I'm guessing about 50-70% of the Wii U owners are going to have the game.[QUOTE="bbkkristian"] People gotta get paid for the time and money put into the game. PurpleMan5000
The fact is that they put in minimal work compared to creating a new game and they're increasing the price just because it will sell well. That's good business but being an asshole to the consumers. I also notice that you didn't say anything about Halo CE - a game that had more content and most likely more money put into it. And it was released at $40.
Microsoft didn't price Halo CE at $40 because they thought they would be nice to their consumers. They priced it at $40 because they thought they needed it to cost significantly less than modern games to sell enough copies to maximize profit. Nintendo is confident that Wind Waker will sell better than Halo Anniversary, so they priced it at $50. It's just simple economics. The games are priced to meet demand.I didn't mean that nintendo or any company does something to be nice to the consumers. I'm just angry that people are defending nintendo pricing the game at $50 when there's no reason other than it's Zelda for it to be priced that high.
