@GermanShepard
you may disagree with the fact that these are in-game graphics, or maybe you're just in denial, but even you have to admit this these pics are more realistic and detailed than FF XIII and MGS 4.

Uhh.....that FFXIII screenshot is CG. :|
You're saying ME looks better than CG?
in this case, YES. it's hard to believe, but an in game pic looks better than cg. it may not have as many polys as the cg, but it has higher res textures and looks more realistic.
@GermanShepard
these pics are real and ingame, Jarrett Lee, a marketing manager has stated in bioware's mass effect forum that the pics were taken earlier today at 4 pm. here's a link.

yup. here's the link.
The character is supposed to look youthful. Why would you want to put give him wrinkles? >_>
the FFX pic is CGI but still doesn't look that great..
There's no wrinkles or anything.. She looks like a plastic face..Huxley_00

Take note that when asked if this is what the game currently looks like, the developer's only response was that it was shot at 4 P.M. Ask a vague question, get a vague answer. He never actually answers the question of if this is indeed what the game looks like, just simply that it was shot at 4 P.M. The shot you used to compare with MGS4 and FF XIII could easily be of a cinematic in the game. The shot could easily be of any build or not even a build at all. All you know for sure is that it was shot at 4 P.M. the day he answered the quote.
I must admit, that was quite a good one. That guy definitely deserves his title as Marketing Manager.
In Conclusion, just wait until the game comes out. You'll be able to know what's what for sure then when it's in front of your eyes. Unless the pictures come from a live demonstration, they could easily be anything and/or everything. That's the beauty of Marketing.
