It would have to be true just due to the fact of the large difference in graphics, but comparing Wiiware and XBLA games isn't supporting your argument since both games are rated on a lower standard than full fledged games.

This, NMH is AA 8.0, and looks HORRIBLE on a HDTV.

This, NMH is AA 8.0, and looks HORRIBLE on a HDTV.

No More Heroes looks bad on any tv. It's not about graphics.

It's still an amazing game though.

i cant argue that No More Heroes looks like crap it does but its so fun that it makes me not caremurat8

Some of the best Wii games have poor graphics. Zack & Wiki isn't exactly a looker either.

It just shows how much higher expectations are for Wii games to have impressive gameplay and not rely on graphics.

To each there own, I didnt have fun with it, AAAAAAAAA swing remote in wild direction, it had arrows but any seemed to work. The only fun part was hitting the balls back. I gave it a shot but hated it. Maybe kids thought it was "cool" because your on a quest to get "laid". The game as a whole was lame.

1) They have lower standards on GRAPHICS, is what people say.

2) Wiiware and XBLA games arereviewd on a completely different scale, thus this is pointless? it doesnt prove your point in the slightest.

Nope we're still running wild, (although I don't consider myself a sheep, just a gamer who owns a wii but doesn't own a 360/PS3 as of yet)

Im not flaming, I rented the game and beat the first 2 bosses. Dont assume Im flaming, just because not everyone is on the wii wagon as hard as you are. Compared to the other games I have to play I didnt feel the need to waste time on NMH, even too human is more fun than that game. Unlike some people I have a wii/360/ps3. I have no need to lie or favor

You should play Braid.

75% of nmhs awesomeness is plotline and beating the game

finish the game before you judge it

if you can't see what makes the game a work of art after that, despite the horrendous graphics, you're a lost cause

Heres my answer for you, go play Braid, go finish it, then you'll know why it got a 9.5.

Braid is on a completly diffrent level than Lost Winds.

sure it innovated, but whether that innovation was a good thing is purely down to opinion.

but the facts are this game has last generation graphics, and barely uses the wiimote.

obviously this game had amazing gameplay, and that's why it scored so high, but if they didn't have lower standards, this game would be a lot lower becuase of the things it didn't have, like a story.
