I was given it free, but I'm still embarassed that it's sitting in my Xbox collection.

I was waiting to see someone do this :|
We get it, you dont like the game. It cant be the actual game your embarrased to own
Probably Pokemon Diamond like some have already mention, since I might be the only college student at my University to be still playing with pokemon game! Well at least that is what I think.
im 31, my wife is 34. we sit around and play pokemon with our kids.
my work partner is 24. if you ever see two paramedics sitting in an ambulance somewhere playing pokemon and swearing, its us.
If you don't know what it is, continue your life without knowing it,
if you know what it is, I apologize for the reminder.
Lol why do i still have this game ( mine is not in such great shape lol)
lol, im glad i dont live near you lol. I dont want to get hurt and have my paramedic playing pokemon while i bleed out :Pim 31, my wife is 34. we sit around and play pokemon with our kids.

I don't particularly care but World of Warcraft would be the game most people seem to look at me funny when I mention I play it.
Me - "Yea I like World of Warcraft."
The look they give me is like... "Oh...you play THAT? How long have you been without sunlight?!?!?"
Me - "Why dont you go add some more strangers to your friends on facebook...ya friggin tool."

This. Though I don't play anymore. (Although sometimes I wish I could play for a little)
Hmm,I always found it a bit strange that some people actually feel embarrassed to state they play World of Warcraft.I have some close friends that play it everyday but don´t admit doing so...I don't particularly care but World of Warcraft would be the game most people seem to look at me funny when I mention I play it.

I wonder...maybe it´s because the game is so popular? If so,we might soon see some MW2 embarrassement rampages as well:D
Probably this:
I still think it's a brilliant SRPG, but when scantily clad anime women pop up during cutscenes it makes you feel slightly uneasy if others are in the same room...

Well the collector's edition came with an 'art book' which... I had to throw out because of the shame.
Lol, I bet most people were like "OMG THIS GAME IS TEH SUKS LOLOLOL" when they first played it XD[QUOTE="tekken220"]

Definately.
We didnt actually buy it, my bro borrowed it from a friend (suprisngly never asked for it back). I was about 7 at the time and about 5 minutes of playing it, i knew it was absoloute crap. There are a few crap-average game you play when your really young but you enjoy it because you dont really know much better. Well i knew straight away this was crap.
What's the name of this game? I wanna check it out...

You shouldn't have thrown it out. It's probably going to be worth a lot of money in the future.[QUOTE="shutdown_202"]

Superman 64 is an embarassment.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is most embarrasing to me because I have to say it is the worst game in my collection, I prefered playing the BFBC2 beta much more than actual call of duty. But if its something that people will laugh at then I have to say Pokemon.
Don't be embarrassed about that game. Viking: Battle for Asgard is pretty damn awesome. My most embarrasing game would be Super Monkey Ball or my collection of Resident Evil light gun games.
EDIT: Actually, I have just remembered that I own Eye of Judgement plus a whole deck of cards, and also a Harvest Moon game. Harvest moon is awesome, but I suppose people would look at me funny if they saw me playing it.
Taught me the value of judging a game on graphics
I wouldn't say i'm embarrased owning either of them, but they are certainly among my crappiest games. I also recently bought Terminator Salvation for the PS3 which is going to get my laughed at by my friends and accused of being a trophy whore. I've been on a terminator kick recently, wife and i just blew through the entire SCC.
blahzorI owned that when I was much younger, I enjoyed it at the time, but I was also.. well really young. I don't think Pokemon should really be an option, its not like the games are overly kiddy and easy or something, not to say they are hard, but they do have some depth to them.
I don't think I'm embarrassed about any game in my collection, I love all the games I buy or get as gifts.
Maybe Zack and Wiki because I'm always asked why I own a kids game.
I wouldnt say im embarresed to own any of my games, and ive got close to 50 PSone games, and somewhere between 35 and 40 PS2 games. 8 PS3 games, but im really more of a PC gamer these days.
However theres 1 game that i always regretted bying, but hey, it was platinum so were cheap. KKND (Krush Kill n Destry) for the PSone. God that game were TERRIBLE. I werent really into RTS games, but did atleast sorta enjoy Red alert and StarCraft.
I agree, I usually take the piss out of anyone who claims Pokemon (or any Nintendo game for that matter,) is bad. Are you too busy playing HARDCORE GAMES (like Call of Duty) to play kiddy games like Pokemon? Yes, the point about CoD was sarcastic. On topic - probably Empire Earth 3. It's terrible.Pokemon is a good game, your never too old to enjoy some Pokemon. I would be more embarrassed to have something like Hannah Montana or High School Musical in my collection. :)

...um...ahem...CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. It was only 8 bucks used and my cousin wanted to play it so I thought what the hell!

I bet it looked so cool on the store shelves, which is probably why you had to get it. Thankfully I didn't have a N64 or the money to get it at the time, which is why I was pretty lucky.
If I had ever played that game during my childhood, I would have been traumatized for the rest of my life.

Bubsy 3D was more horrible than Superman 64, but thankfully it didn't scar me for life.
Not because it looks so girly though. I'm embarrassed because I payed almost $60, it got good reviews (8.5 here on Gamespot) and it's total crap. This is the first time in my 20+ years of gaming that I've anticipated a title and it really turned out be flat out terrible. I feel like every positive reviewer plotted against me screw me out of $60. On top of that, it does indeed look girly. If it was a good game I could at least champion it and say that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover because this game is actually a gem. In reality though, it's just a crappy girly looking game. If you looked at it and said, "this probably sucks," you'd be 100% dead on accurate. As far as pokemon goes...
Fact, anyone who tells you that you're too old to like a good game is a clown and you should question their legitimacy as a gamer.

I guess you have no appreciation for Chopin's music. The game did feel rushed and unfinished, but I loved the premise.
Kung Fu Pand, it's in a double pack with Lego Indiana Jones, it was 3 pounds, whereas Lego Indiana Jones on its own was like 12. It's not that bad actually, only played it for an hour or so though.bobbetybobSame, The 2 games aren't bad, but people do think WTH! Mercenaries 2 is pretty embarrassing, but I think its a blast
