Here it is, from day one of video games, you guys decide and debate.

I'd have to go with the man who created the medium since without him any of those otherpeople up there wouldn't have been able to be influential.norfair_dweller
But one could argue that more than one person was creating the first game at the same time. So was it bound to happen? It's usually the first that creates it, and the second that pulls it off. Neighter one is wrong.
Miyamoto by far.Haziqonfire
If it wasn't for Nolan Buschnell and those other guys, Miyamato would never have been a game developer...

yes, but he is more influential imo.
I picked Miyamoto.
But I disagree with the words "flawless imagination"
How can imagination be flawless? lol
Do you really need to ask? Miyamoto has probably one of the most inventive minds in the world of video games... no... in the world altogether.REVOLUTIONfreak
Lol, I don't know about that. I do love Miyamoto though. But I have to pay my respects to Ralph Baer, without his invention my life wouldn't be much today, even my job is centered around what he created. I LOVE THIS MAN, no homo.

someone would've eventually started the business.
It was natural order. It was new industry with potential of loads of money. If it wans't Nolan Buschnell, some other guy would've done it.
what about the one that invented pong? forgot his name.kiwisama
Originally that would be Ralph Baer. His invention was quickly replicated in a coin-op machine by Nolan Bushnell. There was a dispute over it, but Nolan using his business skills weasled his way out of it.
