I don't see a point to owning an xbox one which they are practically giving away at this point.

If I already owned another console or gaming PC, PS4 would be the most irrelevant to me. If I could only own one console Wii U would be the most irrelevant to me.

Love the shit out of my answer but for me it has to be the WiiU, no 3rd party support, no exclusives in 2016 from this point on AND it's over in less than a year. Shame since I love my WiiU to bits.

True, MS is giving them to PC at an alarming pace and dropping price of the X1 console to reflect this business practice.

Honestly it depends on the person. The WiiU has the weakest library of the three, but is potentially the least redundant console considering all of its best games are exclusive.

For me it's the Xbox One. Ever since I upgraded my PC, I haven't had much of a need to turn it on. If it's the only console you own though, there's a lot of great games to choose from.

Right but the WiiU is at the end of its life whilst the Xbox One is not plus it still gets multiplats. Don't get me wrong I think quality wise the WiiU shits on Xbox One but it doesn't change the fact that it's rather irrelevant soon.

For me, it's the WiiU. It had some really stellar games in its run, but not enough in comparison to Xbone/PS4.

What you think is going to happen if the new xbox is more powerful then the new PS4? Why would people bother with the new PS4 if has inferior third party games? The only reason PS4 stormed ahead of xbox one was the hardware was inferior.

Xbox one. If you had all 4 gaming platforms, it would be almost completely useless.

It also has nearly no exclusives worth playing if you own a PC and Xbox.

On the latter, if you were to own both a PS4 and PC, that would be preferred.

I have to pick the Wii U. It is missing out on all of the 3rd party goodness which means the library is really lacking when compared to the competition.

X1 would be my next pick. It started off with a much better library than the PS4, but 2016 seems to be where that changes. Plus now it is sharing all its big games with the pc.

PS4 would be after that. Most of it's good games are shared with PC and there are only 2 games I consider must own on PS4 after 2.5 years on the market, (Bloodborne and Uncharted 4) and one of those I won't even be buying until it is bargain bin because it has no replay value for me. (Uncharted 4)

PC is the only must own gaming machine in my eyes. Most exclusives, most genres, best multiplats, and best control options on the market.

Luckily, I own them all so I can choose any game on any platform at any time to enjoy.

You obviously have know clue why people buy consoles?. They want the latest versions of COD, battlefield, Fifa all third party games. If the new PS4 is inferior gamers will pick the xbox console.

Console gamers are not going to buy a PC to play third party multiplayer online games. Good luck with that KB/M is king.

@Liquid_: no hes right. This topic is redundant to anyone with brain. I can tell gamespot will start lockin threads like this in the future . I will never understand the point in say pc is better when its only limited by the most advanced technologies. Its brandless. There no such thing as a "pc 2" or "pcs" next project. Its can be w.e so to compare it with something definite like consoles will never make true sense. Pc can never reach the enclosed space a lot of player like unless mass moddifications are done to make it so. Aka unless there alll moddified into just specific gaming consoles. Enjoy prefference but its no where near just a console your playing on. and weather it spec'd better or not it is not the same experience.

Going online to play warzone, create maps or soon play warzone firefight lays elephant sized shits on still playing Mario kart/Smash with my friends. It's all subjective.
