bungie for sure, they do very little in terms of firing out titles

and i have to defend square enix, they have 2 of the biggest and longest franchises in gaming, which sell amazingly well worldwide and get a AAA score on at least one platform here every year

:lol: Sorry, I'm just not a big fan. They're not bad or anything but for me personally, not too into their games. I'm surprised nobody has said Rockstar yet, since GTA seems to always win the "most overrated game" threads.

I didnt say Lionhead was better than Square, I simply stated they dont get recognized enough for their games.

If the company had made a game worth a damn in 8+ years and the original staff wasn't almost entirely gone, I'd let that pass as workable. Goldeneye was sweet, BK was Mario 64 for people who bought N64 late.

My two most disliked companies that just about everyone else seems to love: Bioware and Bethesda.

I just hate WRPGs.

I say Square-Enix.

But NOT Square-Soft.

Since they aquaired Enix, even if they don't develop the games or anything, their games since then have been lackluster.

Too much 'Over the top COOL style instead of gameplay. More eyecandy then anything.

But the Square-Soft of the PS1 was legendary. My favorite developer.

Your avatar is a perfect example of what you mean. Brave Fencer Musashi was a fantastic video game. One of my favorites, but it just became another series SquareEnix crapped all over with yet another cruddy sequel.

I hated Star Ocean 3 for the same reason

Meh, I typically see more people attack Halo than GTA. Both get their share of hatred though, goes with being popular. My pic is Square, ever since they merged with Enix I haven't been very impressed with their work.
