Red Steel? It looked real good in the beginning but the controls were disappointing as was the overall game...

Farcry 2. I hated the first game on Xbox with a purple passion. It got super high scores from reviewers, but it was just terrible. Second game looked very promising, and couldn't hold my attention for three hours. It was actually WORSE. Just bad, bad, bad games.RandolphScott

Why blame consoles for the failure of FEAR 2? Its not like the first game was any good.. Sure the gameplay mechanics where awesome but after 1 hour of playing the game it was all so repetitive that it lost points for every additional minute it dragged on. Could just aswell been grinding in a grindan gaem.

I do agree with farcry 2 though.. Was even more repetitive then FEAR (Had much worse gameplay mechanics also), played the game for 5 hours in hope of the game to develope any further, but driving into respawning patrols to do objectives fit for MMORPGs without earning any Exp or story progression was just dumb. Best genocide simulator of the gen though..

The story was barely there and completely lame. The characters, such as Hale and Capelli, were cardboard cutouts with no personality whatsoever. There was basically no character development to be found, not even on a basic level. Since the story was lacking even by generic shooter standards, it felt like I was hopping from one cliche FPS environment to the next, all with little connecting it all together. The boss fights were supposed to be so damn epic and unlike those offered in any other FPS before it, or atleast that's what Ted Price said. Sadly, all the boss fights were just standard battles with a gimmick. None were epic. Even the biggest one was a letdown. And the main bad guy... oh boy! *facepalm*

It's like a flying squid with no personality, either. And how do you kill him? By shooting out all these light things. And then you get force powers! Literally. You blow dudes away into chunks. For about 6 mins... then it's over.

Far Cry 2. The trailer looks so amazing that I even hyped it as a GOTY contender in 2008.

It's easily the worst purchase I've made this gen, an all around horrible game.

I wouldn't say they are terrible, but I honestly didn't think they were that great at all ;s

Uncharted graphics were fine for it's time.

Red Steel is definitely the most disappointing hyped game this gen for Wii. I can't speak for the other consoles.
