The net can't stop speculating this is Kojima Production next PS5 game

.. or an Xbox game, which people speculates guessing from Ludens statue (Kojima Production Mascot) on Phil Spencer shelf during one of his conference.

What I read on twitter this is a repeat of MGSV marketing where a non existence studio suddenly getting time on E3 to advertise their game "Phantom Pain", the font reminded fans of MGS and just snowballed from there with speculations. Some also suggesting instead of a PS5 game this is actually an Xbox game as apparently according to rumors Sony rejected to fund Kojima's next game and ofcourse news of Phil whoring himself to Japan devs last few years and finally landed a deal with Kojima.

What you guys think of this? Is it really a new game from an actual brand new studio or actually marketing ploy from Kojipro? Oh incase you think the letter S and L means silent hill, the studio "clarified" its not.

How does this studio get top talents to do the VA? Hmmm 🤷🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️

After Death Stranding and MGS5, i am not excited for the next Kojima game. Will buy if its good, but i don't want to build bridges, play an unfinished game or a game where the whole budget went into having celebs...

Also if its a PS5 game, this may indirectly hinting for a State of Play soon for the reveal of the game. Hmmm

Not wanting to put a dampener on things, but I'd say the posts on that account are way less cryptic than Kojima's fun and games so far. Then again, maybe it's a clever double-bluff, and he just got really bored.

@robbie23: BlueBox Game Studios apparently exist and have previously assisted a steam early access game. From what I check on the net, devs team either consist of less than 10 down to just 1. I personally thinks the marketing team probably made a deal to piggyback the studio name and existance.

Reminds me of the Moby Dick Studio that Kojima used before unveiling MGS V.

I used to be fully on with all the MGSV conspiracies during the drama surrounding that game in 2015. Like the one that the entire game was Kojima playing a War of the Worlds level troll-job on the industry, and that Episode 51 and Chapter 3 were secretly in the game and would be unlocked at a later date, etc....

I used to check the subreddit R/Neverbegameover regularly.....etc...

Then 5 years went by, and nothing. Still no chapter 3, still no episode 51, still no reward if nukes get reduced to 0 on the global server, other than a cutscene. Both Kojima and his social media managers as well as other Producers/Voice Actors used to actively fan the flames of this on their personal twitter accounts (but subtlety, in a way that allowed them plausible deniability and the ability to feign ignorance.) They didnt actively participate, but they allowed the idea that there was some elaborate ARG going on to fester, because it benefitted them from a marketing standpoint.

So I no longer have any interest in conspiracy theories surrounding Kojima or ARG viral marketing gimmicks. I'll care when they actually announce a game, and not cryptic marketing.

Dude, I don't know. It's just really weird. You type the name in Japanese, and it pops up "Kahraman" in Turkish. If it's just a coincidence, it's pretty ridiculous.

Blue Box has no saved trademarks. Like, none. Their Youtube channel has no videos, and no content, but the banner is a bunch of empty hills. Silent Hills.

The company photos are a bunch of freaking stock photos. Fake faces.

Geoff Keighley follows the company, for some reason, on Twitter.

At a point (49 seconds) in the trailer for Abandoned, there is graffiti on a wall that says Kill The Trespassers; a tree blocks the letters P and T----P.T. easter egg.

P.T. was the trailer for Silent Hills....which was "Abandoned"

Blue Box Games twitter spoke of "snowflakes of blood" in Abandoned:

The teaser for P.T. (teaser of a teaser) featured, you guessed it, snowflakes of blood:

Blue Box Games was founded exactly one year after the release of P.T., right when Kojima was leaving Konami.

Blue Box's only other game is "The Whisperer", which was finished by another studio, and which has an icon of a black handprint, just like Death Stranding:

One of Blue Box's cancelled games is Lost Tapes, which is a soundtrack listing in MGSV.

This whole ride is really fun, regardless if the game actually not Silent Hill I really enjoyed the process. Hoping its true though! The Medium? Scorn? Silent Hill >>>>>>> all those and can't wait to rub this on everyone!

@sakaixx: The crazy thing is, if this is indeed Kojima antics then.....it's the biggest thing he's ever done. I mean the planning behind it reaches all the way back to 2015, and maybe even before that. I remember an interview with Geoff Keighley way back where he said that he knew Kojima was doing something waaaaaay bigger than anyone even realized. People just thought he meant Death Stranding, because it was right before the release, but something tells me it was beyond Death Stranding. If Silent Hills is indeed still being developed under cover, then maybe Death Stranding is connected to it? Silent Hills--plural--seems to imply multiple realities, which obviously can easily connect to DS. Who knows though.

One thing is for sure, the coincidences are just way too much at this point. I mean they just keep piling up.

Also, Konami just announced like yesterday that they are putting out a Silent Hill line of merch. The timing is highly suggestive, to say the least.

What is this game why is it getting so much traction from big personalities in the gaming circle. What a ride this turning out to be this is awesome something big to look forward to, much better than E3 I say!

It will be quite a story Konami and Kojima getting back together after that very public breakup. Sony also doing MGS movie so they can pull off strings to get them back together hmmm.
