Why are people being like this to the TC he/she is just stating an opinion, you can counter argument without an insult.FMAB_GTO
If everyone had that same mindset, this place would be rather boring.
It's the internet. TC will live, and continue to enjoy pedobait loli crap after this topic falls into the abyss of SW.
Why are people being like this to the TC he/she is just stating an opinion, you can counter argument without an insult.FMAB_GTOBut it's a much more simple approach to just fling an insult, you slut. *I didn't really mean that*

I think they should've taken the art direction somewhere towards the lines of Rayman Origins/Wario Land Shake It.

No. Mario platformers are about visual clarity. These are precision based games and as such they require precise visual feedback.
Horrible. It was fine on the DS and just barely acceptable on the Wii, but now it still looks like a DS game on the Wii U?Bad-School-Girl
Rayman Origins also came out on the Wii so i dont know what the hell you're talking about.
Call me the idiot I am, but what the hell does Rayman Origins coming out on the Wii have to do with anything? Seriously, that argument makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.I agree. I'm not a huge fan of the NSMB series, to be honest. It's not just the art style. I feel the series 'plays it safe' on almost every level. The multiplayer in NSMB Wii was a bold design choice, but playing it with my friends proved to be a frustrating experience.
I'd love to see Ninty try a new art style or replicate the Yoshi's Island art style in HD. New Super Mario World, maybe? That would be awesome.
No I think it looks fun. And your opinion doesn't matter, you have one creepy ass sig and avatar, like wtf bro. Why do you have a kid in a swimsuit as your sig?
So it doesn't matter what you think. Wii U and PS4 are what I'm going with next gen, end of story.
It's probably going to be a downloadable title for Wii U. I'm fine with NSMB on hand helds, but I'd rather have something along the lines of Galaxy or Sunshine on a home console.
Pretty sure that was footage based on last year's E3 tech demo. I hope the Mario game they reveal tomorrow will be much different. Why would they spoil what it will look like in the Nintendo Direct?
But if that is New Mario U, I will be really dissaponted. I did enjoy New Mario Wii, but the art style was bland, just like this looks. The background is nice but who cares when the rest of the game looks the same. Plus if the presentation is the same, we'll probably get more of that New Mario crappy music.
