So System Wars, I believe it is now time to decide which gaming franchise is the all time best. No, we won't rely on the critics to tell us that- let's decide this ourselves, here and now. In this massive two part polling contest, let's try and decide what System Wars deems to be the best gaming franchise of all time.

Any franchise is eligible. The only rule is that the game franchise in question must have had two games or more- which basically means that everything is fair game, right? I was initially about to impose a much stricter limit of at least three games, but then realized that several popular series, like Uncharted, Mass Effect and Kid Icarus would be excluded from the voting if I did that.
Anyway, so how do we decide this?
It's simple: just list three of your favorite game franchises in ranked order.
The franchise that you list at #1 shall get 50 Points. The one at #2 will get 25 points. The one at #3 will get 15 points. Everyday, I will update the tallies in this OP. At the end of the voting period, this poll will be closed, and the five highest scoring franchises will be selected as finalists in a no holds barred System Wars poll.
POSTS THAT DO NOT LIST THREE FRANCHISES WILL BE DISREGARDED. THIS GOES FOR BOTH, POSTS THAT LIST MORE AND POSTS THAT LIST LESS THAN THREE FRANCHISES.
