I love how he states "don't defend an unfinished product" yet there's a blog called "can we really blame 343 for MCC"

The Master Chief Collection was finished, it wasn't missing anything, it had unknown broken lines of code that once hit the open network collapsed, that's not even remotely comparable.

Except half of the game didn't work, you're comparing utterly broken multiplayer to free DLC that doesn't even play a huge part in the game.

You can still do EVERYTHING else apart from a free story mode that you will get for free a couple of months later, I can't believe you even think that SFV is a worse deal than MCC.

Yes, it's called broken code that needed to be fixed, not something that is inherently missing from the game that should be there, it was there, it was just messed up.

You're calling an absent single player mode from Street Fighter V "free DLC" really lol? Free DLC? There's no bias, they're completely unrelated and different scenarios, it's the same bullshit that Rockstar did with GTA Online... They released an unfinished game and segmented it, look at what Square Enix is doing with Hitman and Final Fantasy 7, they're segmenting their development and releasing unfinished products.

This is literally an afterthought added in so they can try out proper storytelling in their iconic franchise and clearly wasn't part of the initial vision.

Explain to us Nya, how does this detract from the product in any way? You wanna know another "incomplete" game that you actually like, Killer Instinct.

It's not an expansion, it's not an afterthought, they just didn't want to delay the game so they cut off the development for release and are finishing it later, don't be so naive.

Killer Instinct is a free to play game and was designed as an ever expanding micro-transaction base from inception.

Why are you still allowed to post?

The game is literally finished in its base state; the characters, arcade mode, online and all that are entirely programmed and ready to release. This story DLC is literally just an expansion that you get a few months later.

I loved the Beta and the idea all characters can be earned on your own I'm going with a solid 9.

Hitman and FFVII are episodic so they're irrelevant in this and GTAV was entirely finished, GTAV just got online free DLC that was programmed later.

That's called a macro and you can customize those on most fighting sticks regardless of platform. Cheating will occasionally happen on online play but most big and flashy combos being mapped out will put someone in a negative frame position if they whiff and I know it won't make it any better but the heart of competitive fighting games is local play or at a tournament, in which anyone using a macro would be caught and banned right away.

The 1st DLC is Alex/YAY/ and it seems you can use PS3 controllers, wich is nice if you have raging friends and don't want to loose a PS4 controller,

But SF wasn't one of them. SF4 launched with it. Halo5 got blasted for not having BTB and Forge on launch because it usually does. SF usually does have its story mode. What's up with the double standard? I mean fucking Killer Instinct has story mode dude.

@cainetao11: SFV is launching with a story mode. It has two story modes. The mode releasing in June will be similar to MKX and Injustice with over an hour of cutscenes. The one at launch will be similar to the regular arcade mode with still artwork.
