so a casual who knows anything about gaming is no longer a casual? So all those millions that bought a PS2, they're not casuals because they know PS2 is a game machine? Learning intelligent facts like 1st party, 2nd and 3rd etc makes you a non-casual. Not really. Being able to tell which games are which and know the differences between the three does though.

You should have seen the "At EB Games" thread, where he was talking about how the Wii wasn't selling, but the PS3 was flying off shelves. Also, WarioWare wasn't selling very well at all (this was before the game was released in NA), and that Resistance was the best-selling game that week. And the pre-orders for MGS4 took up four pages. >_>

My experience has actually been the exact opposite. It is always casuals who are at stores asking for the Wii. They really only want Wii sports or excite truck or the idea of older games since from VC since not everyone is a computer nerd who has ROMs.

I suppose it could be win=sales but lots of good games also=win. But right now PS3 is doing either very well right now. Maybe in the future but not now. Oh and to educate you on Samus, SHE is a human in a suit. Samus is the protaganist in the Metroid games. Metroids are annoying things in the game you kill. Google it up. But yeah, learn about it before making silly posts and making yourself look like a fool (although kinda late for that now, huh :P)
Its really a hard thing to define. You cant base it soely on units sold. You cant base it solely on total earnings (this is not profit). You cant base it on the soely on the price of the machine. BIC, a company that sells pens, sells more of those peace of crap pens than any other company. Theyre really cheap too. Does that make them the best? Not by a long shot. It only makes them the most poplular. A professional pen would obviously be better and sell alot less. So in the case of the Wii, even though my opinion is that its the best, it might not be, and honestly doesnt quality without some formula to factor in its cheeper price. So what, Bic sells more pens. Big deal. Price alone can't determine it either. When that occurs you have to gauge how much of the stuff involved in the price is actually worth the price. So just because Wii has sold more doesnt neccessarily mean it's better. At the same token, just becuase the PS3's price is so much higher doesnt neccessarily mean it would outsell the Wii if the price was closer to the Wii's.
The only way to tell which system is better is if someone would write a check to everyone. Only one check. For only one thing. Either the Wii, PS3, or XBOX360. Whichever one got the most sales would be the winner. Unfornately, such a test is impractical.

The best part is that Wiis are hard to find and they are crushing the PS3. The nearest Sam's Club to where I live got 15 PS3s like a month and a half ago. They've sold two.MrDziekuje
