Oh. I assumed you meant the 360 version, since Halo3 is obviously a 360 exclusive.[QUOTE="coolviper2003"]I'm talking about the PC version here. It only cost $50, and some stores will probably sell it for $40 like Circuit City (they sold Bioshock for $40). PC mods add a lot to a game's life span, thats's why I am confident that it will offer more game for you buck then Halo 3.PotatoSan
BTW, I never should have made the comment about HL2 being good in 2004, because I haven't truly enjoyed a single player game since the NES days. I realized when I started playing online multiplayer, that I wasn't even having fun playing single player games. I don't really get into stories in games. Who knows why. I like books a lot more for that. Games that are made to be pure fun (instead of thrilling or exciting or puzzling) are what I like.
I don't restrict a game to a certain platform, if it's available on more then one platform, I'll use the better one to help me in an argument (somewhat childish but oh well ^^; ). The debate wasn't Halo 3 vs 360 version of the Orange Box, so I included and used the PC version in my debate. I think the 360 version of the Orange Box will have a much harder time against Halo 3, but as far as the PC version is concerned, the Orange Box offers more gameplay for your buck, and might be the better game overall IMO. And since you only like MP for some reason, I can see why you might prefer Halo 3, and in that case I'd agree with you, but in terms of single player and having more content, Halo 3 pales in comparison.
