Whats the point of hyping games like the order, or driveclub all year and including them in every list possible if they are only going to be hyped a 7 (AE) in the end?
Mostly the people will hype graphics, not the game itself.

@R4gn4r0k: The problem is, if thye don't offer a review event for multiplater, they can't give you a review on/before launch, so you end up having to wait.
Honestly though, if they're reviewing multiplayer functions and it's up before release then obviously it has to be on press dedicated servers or events and not when normal people are playing.
Similar to a beta, it might be stable at first, but come release, it crashes constantly.
I'm not completely against review events. But the least a respectable game website could do is disclose that fact.
I mean how many websites disclose that COD reviews are review events and that Activision gives/gave them a bunch of stuff ? Practically none. Now with AW, I saw a few sites mentioning it. And I respect that.
Again, perhaps review events for MP only games are the only way to do it. But there are also games that are not just MP-only that also get review events. Clearly some Publishers don't have faith in their product when they can only show it to the press in a controlled environment.
Same with the review embargo for AC: Unity... Ubisoft had zero faith it would turn out well. Can't write a review on launch ? Then disclose to the public that this is the case.
9/10.
*Unprecedented graphics, beats anything on consoles and PC
*mesmerizing story and characters
*good weapon variety
*Solid gun play and intensive gore
At least you're not a coward and underhype when it comes to crunch time like the other cows.
props.
This thread is a perfect example of why hype threads are completely useless. Opened by a sheep just to douse interest in the game, people openly admitting they will be hyping inflated scores just so it fails to meet hype, and of course Sony fans will underhype it just in case it doesn't meet hype.
And nothing was gained or lost. Who cares?
It's got a brilliant setting, it's looking a bit formulaic but I am looking forward to it. Unless its an outright disaster I'll be playing it and I'll make up my own mind.
ain't that the truth.
So many bad previews already. I never can recall a big game like this getting such bad press, early on.
The QTE's and Insta-death seem to turn a lot of early players away. The graphics won't save this mess. It will be a continuation of 5Club.
6/10 all day long.
I'm going it will be a solid game. My hype level isn't the highest at the moment, but I can see it getting a 8. Graphics look great and the latest gameplay looks better than previous builds.
No poll? Hype AAA of course anything under and you admit you're no fun.
Also crow bet activated.
it's actually better if someone is willing to count what people say rather than relying on a poll, since the poll is anonymous
Hmm that's a good point actually.
At least gpuking who makes threads about Order all the time, take it like a man. He hyped it AAAE. Others talk about it all the time but in this thread, they are sacred shitless.
Poll? Sheesh, after all the hyping for the last year and afraid to include a poll? hahaha cows. :P
6/10 but still likely worth a play through for TPS fans so perhaps a rental would be best.
After all the sketcy previews, is it really surprising that hype for this game has diminished? You'd think PS-haters would be pleased that cows are implcitly admitting that The Order might not be worth the attention instead of butthurt at the possibility of being denied the satisfaction of yelling flop (though some undoubtedly will anyways cause bitterness >>> SW rules.)

I think the issue is there are so few games worth the attention on PS4, waiting a year plus for that possible decent movie game sucks.
5/10 = 4 (1111)
6/10 = 16 (1111111111111111)
7/10 = 23 (11111111111111111111111)
8/10 = 21 (111111111111111111111)
9/10 = 11 (11111111111)
10/10 = 9 (111111111)
CURRENT HYPE LEVEL IS 7!!!
Keep the 8s and 9s coming people!
lol, gotta be people joking.
i hyped Halo MCC a 10. I had to eat crow
@Jankarcop:
The same could easily be said of the XB1. In fact it seems only the Wii-U is now starting to boost its exclusive library.
8/10 but more likely be a 6/7 due to most reviewers going with whats popular now.
With no open world or multiplayer then it will get a negative score for just that.
If the graphics are as good as they look now, and the gameplay is solid which many are saying is, and the story is good then I'll be enjoying my play through and don't care who mocks the game just because it isn't there beloved genre.
EDGE had an incredibly disparaging preview in their latest issue. They criticized pretty much everything: the AI, the stealth sections, even the facial animations they describe as "....decent, but not remarkable, and we'd expected rather more given the extent to which Ready At Dawn's technical ambition had taken prevalence over mechanical concerns"
I'll hype a 5.
