[QUOTE="Death2009"][QUOTE="the1stmoonfly"][QUOTE="Mudig"]Well excuse me for thinking Germany is Europe's biggest economy and the 3rd biggest in the world. I just thought they would matter you know. And there aren't any pics of the launch being posted here.Lothenon
LOL, i love it when people own themselves, of course germany matters, well put. :) The economy doesn't matter, it's the size of the market for the product being sold. Germany isn't a huge gaming nation.Wth? You do know that the most profitable gaming nations are the US, Japan, the UK and Germany in that order? You do know that one of the largest gaming conventions and the largest in Europe is the GC which is held in Leipzig, Germany? You do know that CryTek and their FarCry and Crysis are German?
Anyway, here's your pictures:

Rough translation of the highlited parts:
Disappointing PlayStation 3 launch in Munich...Two dozen consoles sold in the first few minutes although half of the consoles in stock did not leave shelves ...there were no real waiting lines
Summary: Saturn, on of the largest electronic stores in Germany, and the first to sell PS3s at midnight, sold aprox. 30 consoles, which was about half of the consoles they had. All in all rather disappointing.
Nice german sites. Did you miss the numbers? The numbers disprove that site that is in a language I DON'T SPEAK!
FYI, All system sold better in France than in Germany, might wanna do a double take on your claim!
