My thoughts are that Sony is going to take back market share going into the next generation. How people are defending MS is beyond me. Kinect, no matter how they spin it, is essentially MS trying to transfer over and steal the market Nintendo was somehow able to grasp. The problem is that while the wii appeals to both a core and [extremely]casual crowd; this casual crowd likely isn't the type of gaming crowd which goes out and buys the next "new" thing.

Even if you don't like Sony, or are a 360 fanboy, it isn't hard to see that Sony is taking a much better direction. They've proven they have a varied lineup in the works. They understand the lifespan of a console better than ms does, imo.

Most of the games I actually care about in 2011 are multiplat. Gears 3, The Last Guardian, and The Witcher 2 are the only exclusives i want....so yeh, PS3 isn't the best.AAllxxjjnn

Fable scores well, and sells well. It'll probably compete with Killzone, better then Gears.

GT should outsell them all if it repeats past success

Problem Fable 3 is not coming out in 2011 and it isn't even an exclusive since it is on the PC. It will out this year. TC specifically said 2011.

The Witcher is a multiplat in the same way Team Fortress is. It'll be so much better then the console counterparts that they may as well not be considered.

That's if they even bother to go ahead with plans to bring it to consoles

there's torchlight II,witcher 2 the old republic,red orchestra,GWII and hopefully Diablo III. I guess im saying the pc wins nextt year.

Actually, a few have been mentioned but I'm not to huge on RPGs myself and I think Demons Souls is better than fable by a longshot. I'm going by my past experiences and the past hype regarding the fable series.

I just wanted to point out that Fable is multiplat and Gears is coming off of one of the most dissapointing games of this generation, people saying it'll destroy Killzone 2 are delirious. Killzone will outclass it in every way. Oh wait, I bet your talking about sales... :roll: How fun.

They're not saying it's in development, they're saying they PLAN to develop it, as in they, they want to do console versions.

So far we've seen whole levels of the PC version, and yet the proposed console version hasn't even been hinted at since. Id say their plans are still just that.Plans.

No one is arguing that GeoW will sell more than KZ3 though, so your just make statements that no one is even trying to dispute.

GeoW2 and KZ2 scored 9.0's in SW. In metacritic, I saw GeoW3 has 2 points avg higher than KZ2. Is that enough to be competition in terms of rankings, I believe so. Both are highly praised shooters which makes I believe warrants the 2 to be competitive in terms of the gameplay aspect as well.

I'm not leaning towards either one being better and I even enjoyed GeoW series more than the KZ series. I'm just saying the situation is what is it. They are going to compete in gameplay and rankings.

Im no "Rocket scientologist" but last i checked Metacritic has Gears 2higher then KZ2, which i assume emans it outscored it? There's this little number type thing next to it, and it's a higher one that Killzones.

PC has a great selection itself. Red Orchestra 2, Diablo 3, FireFall, Guild wars 2, Nights of the old republic just to name a few. Yep PS3 and PC are looking good for 2011. Im glad i have both consoles. I have an Xbox but i couldn't care less what games it gets worst console ever IMO.

No one defined what "competeing" meant. Competition isn't normally based on opinion, so I assumed sales, which Gears win.

Fable 2 sells similar to KZ2, and, like with Gears 2 is 2 points of the meta score, so imo is better competition(Not that they're releasing near one and other)

Here... You said KZ is hardly competition for GeoW. I've already clarified that both games will compete in terms of gameplay and ratings, quality if you will and I am not disputing sales since it's expected for GeoW to already sell more.

I don't see where I mentioned sales anywhere. I still don't see where I "listed" anything. I didn't "pick" any games at all and what are these "other" games that are listed. I stand by with what I said, "what are you talking about?" What you said has no relevance to anything I said.

Have you been here for the hype threads of Fable 2? Tell me about the hype and how the game turned out in terms of what was hyped, please... Personally, I enjoyed the game but it was far from what it was hyped and anyone who's my friend in XBL knows I've put time into it. Also, my comment about Fable is on a more joking side if you couldn't tell.

Killzone's graphics are pretty overrated, it has good lighting, but that was about the only thing that impressed me.

I also found Gears 2 campaign more epic.

also, gears 2 didn't suffer from a delay in the controlls and your friendly A.I. although dumb was not as dumb as alpha squad

As for online i coulnd't really tell you, I only really enjoyed Horde mode, didn't really enjoy it's competitive online, haven't tried Killzone 2 online much either

Why are you discussing which was better GeoW3 or KZ2? They were both close enough that you can't tell which sequel will be better. If you think differently, you're a fanboy. Plain and simple.
