No. Compare 360's Launch Figures Vs PS3's.
You'd see comparing sales in launch months PS3 is outselling 360. Mark you this is 360's strongest Region.
360 has already been outdone in Japan and EU is looking to follow suit.
Sure GeOW help 360 take January, lets see 360 do that when PS3 gets its own heavy hitters
um you do remember in the early months you couldnt get a 360 anywhere due to shortages and the demand was soo high. sony on the other hand doesnt have that problem and its should be selling more than the 360 which it isnt. so comparing sales from ps3 launch to 360 launch is just stupid. since the ps3 has been out the 360 has been outselling it.

um u do know the the 360 is doin bad in japan right..in japan they made it clear they choose their next gen system to be the ps3..yes i know wii is dominating over there..but wii just have the remote..lol...the fact is still there that ps3 still continues to sell even with a high price tag and not many great games is out..240,000 is only here in NA not including japan..and europe launch is next month..ps3 wont catch up to the 360 that fast..but in due time..who knows..
Also you would think with all the "demand" that the PS3 would actually sell more then the 360 for a month or 2. Theres enough PS3's out there now so the "there's not enough to sell" excuse won't work anymore.
Original poster im not flaming on you but listen to yourself the Ps3 has been out for what 4 months and its monthly sales are behind a year old console if thier monthly sales are lower than the 360's now then you tell me when the Ps3 will pass the 360?
Look at it that way, now is the time PS3 will sell huge, it has recently appeared, and anyone plannning on one would get it by this summer or a bit later. The fact that 360 sells more, even if it is out for 1+ year, makes PS3 look really bad, given 360Â is very low games between now and may, nad will pick up HUGLY after, with Mass Effect, Bioshock, Two Worlds, Elveon, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Halo 3 all at once !!!!! At that point PS3 will be totally eclipsed, if 360 sells so well right now

NA is the place you have to win these days in order to get the most sales. and with sony doing so bad in NA and not winning japan, it doesnt look good for the ps3. maybe next year when some good games come out things might change, then again its not like MS and nintendo wont pull out the big guns next year. halo 3 is sure to move systems, and nintendo doesnt seem to be losing any steam at all. so no the ps3 isnt anywhere near close to 360 sales every month.
Here's what nobody gets here. Unless PS3 outsells 360, it falls further behind, even if it's just by a few thousand. Last month, 360 won by 50k. If it outsells PS3 again, but by only 30k, it still widens the gap.

Hey I didn't know 360 came out in 2006 like the PS3 did. :shock: Since they released at the same time I guess 360 sold 10 mil to PS3s 2 mil simply because more people wanted it. :roll: Lem logic is funny

i couldn't agree more it seemed like all microsoft was interested in doing when it was releasing Gears of war was to soften the blow of the ps3 this past holiday season. After that the 360 lineup has gotten slowas well as the ps3 line ups . All we have been hearing so far is that all the games coming out are gonna be multiplatform . This is turning into the decline of video games again . All it is now is company trying to compete with another company. Nintendo was just trying to survive this gen with the wii and look at them now . Instant success and why because they wanted to make a console for everyone. There isn't gonna be a multiplatform game that comes out for the wii that will play the same as the 360 and the ps3. The only sacrfice that nintendo made was the graphics but graphics are for fanboys . I bought a wii for my girlfriend the first day it came out . And here i am with my ps3 and 360 collecting dust . I've been pc gaming mostly now the replay value is down for me because of lack of games . All she has is ninendo sports , Rayman Raving Rabbids ,and zelda . And she is still playing those games cause of the replay value .
