The PS3 is deemed the king of the action-adventure genre?

One of the big debates in SW used to be "Ninja Gaiden vs God of War", we all remember how many threads there were based on this argument.

It seems that now the PS3 dominates this action-adventure genre, though.

Its library includes: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2 (superior versions of the Xbox counter-parts), God of War 3, Uncharted 1 & 2, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 4, Infamous, and MAG. Plus, all the awesome multi-plat games (such as RE5, GTA IV, etc.)

Can we put this debate to rest now?

All it needed was God of War for this to be fact.

Fair enough. 360 still has the shooters though.

The PS3 does offer a robust selection of adventure games..I'm not complaining :)

King of fighterS? Nope I dont think 360 wins that. PS3 has all the fighters and the perfect control for fighting games. 360 controller sucks for fighting games although it is good for shooters.

Taking a quick glance at Gamerankings, and the Xbox 360 has 20 AA or better FPSs... where as the PS3 only has 15.

And for fighters... PS3 has 5 AA or better games, where as the Xbox 360 has 6.

Take that however you want. :P

Twisting the data in your favor. Who's to say AA is the minimum threashhold required to be counted? Why not AAA or A?

I think the D-pad makes PS3 the victor here. Now I know someone's going to say using an arcade stick makes this a nonissue, but not everyone has the luxury of purchasing a stick that's sever times greater in price than the value of a single game.

Dead or Alive is pretty awesome though. Should have made it a multiplat.

Of action games, perhaps. I wouldn't go as far as to say action-adventure though.
