The PS3 is getting a killer app next week. Will you be buying it?

Heavenly Sword is the one of the reasons I bought the Playstation 3. This game looks absolutely amazing and the demo was a complete blast to play. I can't believe it's coming out next week. :D

i found the combat boring, it was just like playing god of war. Without the style, and smoothness.

This game showed as much promise as Lair...

The game may get a 9.0 here at GS. Its pretty sad how Sony has lowered the expectations of Cows over the past year to the point wherea 9.0 is your definition of a "killer app". :lol:

If EGM's biggest Sony fanboy, Shane B, can only give Heavenly Sword a 9/10, then do you really think that GS will give it higher than this???

I'd take Mario, Zelda, and Metroid over Sony's current exclusives like Resistance, Warhawk, Motorstorm, and Lair. But if you throw in Heavenly Sword, it would be a tough choice.

We have reasons to hype a game, except for its graphics...I agree red steel was over hyped but its concept seemed nice and we needed the hype. But then again,5.5 > 4.5 roflmao. And Zelda + MP3 >>>>> PS3 entire library.

hmmm three of those games are excellent, i loved papermario, twillight princess and prime 3. all were amazing. i played red steel for about 3 minutes and actually have been thinking about buying strikers because those i know that own it love it.

as for heavly S i will be renting it or waiting till one of my freinds buy it. i have read more than one place it is only 6 hours long and i can not justify 60 bucks for six hours of gameplay.

Yes, that is pretty much my take on the game as well. I don't really care if it gets a 10. If it its only 6 hours long give 3 or 4 more hours, it is simply not worth $60.

What if it flops?

Am I hyping it any certain score in this thread? A killer app can be someones own personal value of the game and not some Gamespot rating since I'm not proclaiming it to be a AAA title.

It will be AA and that's still a killer app in my book if it interests you.
