I don't have a preferred console to side with. I like all and game on all. But a lot of people on this board almost always go out their way and post stuff that isn't relevant to the topics just to incite things.

As for what you said to the TC. The TC can either be lying, or he could be offline playing them or working.

After spending this weekend with the Xbox One, i can't imagine going back to changing channels and such to watch tv or not being able to have features snapped to the side. "xbox on," "xbox turn off," "xbox snap (insert choice)," "xbox go to Forza Motorsport 5," "Xbox resume Ryse Son of Rome," etc. Very rarely do you have a system that actually feels next gen in addition to the games like the Xbox One does, imo.

When people post stuff like this, users usually ask for proof. It is not an unusual thing at all. If you take a look at the first page, the last person the TC responded to was me defending his post when I suggested he show his actual PS4 and games.

You know since he was calming to have played PS4 and judged the UI and new network and games, I asked why doesn't he show it hooked up like it would be if he has actually done all this, and not boxes. At that point he was still interacting in the thread but failed to deliver the proof or say he would in the future he simply deflected saying "not all of us need to sell on ebay". When I requested further for him to "show it then" he never replied back to this thread...that was the other day.

There is nothing to defend here because no proof of him actually playing the system to evaluate it for himself like he was claiming was shown. Everyone else who I have seen on here who owns the systems ALWAYS show it hooked up to their TVs with the UI or games playing.

Who the hell shows boxes unless, the box isn't yours to open, you didn't open the box because you intended to sell it or the box is empty and you can't show it....or it's old pics and the box shown is already sold and the person doesn't have it in his possession anymore (which is what I suspect)

Pretty much this. Its why they got bent over and flanged all last gen with ads on the dash and crappy 1st party that makes only 3 franchises and kinect casual shyte. Its why there was barley any 360 exclusives in the last 2-3 years.... they are blind to it and defend it to the death no matter what M$ does. Same people that were strong 360 supporters on here... don't care about consumer rights, don't care about the greed MS puts out... Its like the common sense, part of their brain isn't working..

Hey soulitane, i know there ARE some xbox fans who own a PS4 but are still partial to MS here on SW, but I am specifically addressing the fact that the TC is/was a liar and to defend him as if as if his post made him credible looks pretty bad.

And no it's not unusual to ask for proof. If someone claims to have something, you want to see it. If they can't provide proof or dodge the question, then chances are, they don't have it.

Massive, massive FORMER Lem here. I was all about the XBOX ONE until E3 happened. Their initial policies pissed me off. But I stood with them. Then they back tracked and I lost trust in them! Then the games started being shown and it was discovered the hardware is weak when compared to its main competition. Take all of that and throw in a $500 price point, a camera peripheral that nobody really wants and a weak stable of in house developers and what you get is the XBOX ONE and former Lems like myself jumping ship to play our games on a much better and more user friendly system!

Still a good system that will provide good games in the future but I agree that compared to the Xbox One yes it does come off as a bit bland and a kinda "been there done that" vibe. Someone mentioned it as an updated 360 which I kind of agree with.

I mean Sony is playing serious catch up with regards to their online infrastructure.

The Xbox One is just fresh and is advancing their online infrastructure and user interface.

Not to mention continuing to improve on kinect.

As long as they keep providing enough games then yes it will stand out a bit more compared to the ps4.

I don't see the issue with PSN. I haven't had any issues on it since I got my PS4 that I never had XBL! They seem to provide the level of service and connectivity. Non issue in my mind!

am i the only gamer left in the world that just wants a console for gaming? all the web surfing,video streaming,pictures,do all boxes dont do much for me. I dont need a console for NetFlix..matter of fact I dont even use it..NOR do i care much about playing online. I would pissnuts if someone just made a console for gamers that had multiple controller ports,and good quality splitscreen games for fun TOGETHER..call me old fashion..

Exactly! finally people are beginning to see the fucking light! Sales dont mean shit!! what means shit is how satisfied I am with my damn purchase and I own both! I played PS4 the week it was out before Xbox...the moment I unboxed my xbox my PS4 has not been turned on again! I am not a lem or cow...Xbox one does amazing things! I dont even use the controller anymore unless im playing a game thanks to Kinect and even games like Dead Rising let you give commands during gameplay which I think is fucking awesome!! Dead Rising 3 is so much more fun than Killzone was...I have so much to do in Dead Rising and its still fun...basically IMO PS4 shoulda did something more futuristic and next gen like Xbox has done with Kinect and a bunch of other things its capable of like the whole tv and game dvr thing..PS4 is just PS3 with better graphics and they even charge for online now, how is that something better? lol not being biased this has just been my experience with both consoles...also Xbox Ones controller is the greatest controller as of right now! The PS4 controller is definitely better than the last, the light on top and speaker are pretty cool but in the long run I think Xbox will win...it already has so much to work with, it will do amazing things with Kinect...it already is! the sales will only increase and maybe pass PS4 when people take the time to try an Xbox One out and see for themselves how awesome it is...

xbox one does nothing for gaming. I prefer the PS4 over it. Still it's nice having both. MS needs to work on their UI though, accessing you're friends list and inviting friends to games was way more simple on the 360.

Strange concept choosing not to evolve. If you never take the chances to improve upon something you will never advance and this is what the kinect is doing. Right now, if nothing else, it is already adding to the immersion of owning a games console and playing the games that come out for it. Body tracking to look out of your car one way or the other, voice commands, blocking by raising your controller, etc and that's just launch.

i'd say choosing not to devolve. i can tell a useless control scheme when i see one. why not just do the same more precisely with a press of a button? i don't want to be jumping and swinging around when gaming. physical exercise is whole other thing, and done more effectively without gimmick-ware. i liked playing some bowling or golfing games with friends on Wii, but that's really all motion controls are good for.

if you can't do better, stay in the old way. for example, you know why PCs are still mostly used with old keyboard and mouse? because it's still simply the most effective input method ever invented.

Steam controller on the other hand is doing something that could actually work. it's narrowing the gap between mouse and gamepad, and that's somthing i could call evolvement.

Lems see with X-goggles. It makes them see the PS as always less than an Xbox. Even when it's proven the PS4 has a 150% more powerful GPU, GDDR5 RAM vs GDDR3 RAM, you can upgrade the internal HDD from 500GB to 2TB and can't with X1, has perfect controllers that come rechargable and X1's doesn't. They then start saying the X1's better because of TV on it, when everyone already has TV service making it null and void and Kinect which is a stupid motion control gaming feature that wore off 2 years ago and no one cares for any more.

Sony got the PS4 right! They made a solid, fast, slick console that focuses on making gaming top notch.

I guess that beats the cows, fired up PS4 didn't have any games to play, came back to SWs. Lasted 2 hours
