The psn network is a joke compared to xboxlive.

It’s looking like a problem with your connection dude. You shouldn’t be getting those shitty speeds if you truly have 100Mbps. You should contact your ISP about this issue, you could be getting throttled really bad.

I'd agree, but his Xbox speeds seem to put a pin in that. Could be due to original PS4 Wi-Fi being shag. My upgrade from OG PS4 to Pro for Wi-Fi was drastic, and wired cut down on Ping around 10x or so.

Sounds like that could be the problem. That’s a strange problem to have. I had my OG launch PS4 for 3 years before the Pro launched and I never had any issue with download speeds. He might have to switch to wired if he keeps getting that problem or sell his OG PS4 and get a Slim/Pro. Another thing he could do is pause and restart his download. Sometimes when you start downloading a game it starts downloading at a shitty slow rate but pausing and restarting the download immidiately fixes the issue.

yeah i read about that , but that didn't help, I will certainly try wired if I download hzd , can't be asked to wait for that long if I get it in my head to play that game. Allthough I might have to download it by tomorrow anyway, that summer sale is probably going to be over soon.

My OG PS4 on wifi had shit download speeds. I can't see if they were the same, as I no longer have it, but they were terrible in comparison to other systems/products. My Pro did wonders both on wifi and wired (wired ATM.)

You could just have a dud unit commander. It happens. I know I shit on MS a lot but I have a surface pro 3 with a broken marvel wifi chipset. I have buddies where theirs are still working.

At least you provided some proof, so credit where credit is due
