The "uncharted could've been made on 360" argument

.. Is really stupid. Why do fanboys resort to this excuse when facing the fact that Uncharted is the best looking console game right now?

Sure, it could've been made on 360. But it's not.. just like how gears or halo 3 could be made for the PS3 but aren't.

I dont think it is the best looking game, though. That's the thing. Too many fanboys throw that around as fact. You could definately make a case for it being the best looking game, and if you did think so not many people would say you're completely wrong, but it's the way that it's supposedly a "fact" that gets me. There's no reason to think that Uncharted couldn't be made on the 360, the PS3 hardware is all weaker than the 360's.

If you say Blu Ray as a reason, well then auto-respond with DVD9 has compression.

this argument of Uncharted vs GeOw will never stop, lemmings wont admit that Uncharted looks better than anything xbox360 offered... even if sites / reviewers confirmed Uncharted looks better, lemmins say its just an opinion.. but its strange how sites become reliable when they say that a multiplat is better on xbox360... apparently sites/reviews/previews are only correct when in favour of the xbox360..

Uncharted being graphically better than GeOW is not an opinion but a reality...

you see, to many condenders to crown a king, case closed. uncharted is part of a top-end mire of fantastic looking games. i could list about 8 games off the top of my head that people think look as good or better.

Here are the facts:

Everyone has different opinions. Everyone has a different take on what game is the best looking console game.

There have been at least a few 3rd party, reputible sites that have hailed Uncharted the best looking console game and have yet to name another.

Uncharted could NOT be done on the 360. Not with all of the character animations and the fluidity at which they are used. No way, no how.

It means better lighting and animation and AI (though technically not graphics) with the Cell.

Most of the lighting will be done on the gpu anyway, as for phisics and ai that could be easily accomplished by the xenon. My point is that there is no need for such a complicated unorthodox cpu(cell) in the ps3, it thus far has seemed to work to sonys dissadvantage.
