No you don't, if you did you would know that the PS3 is the best. When you play on PS3 it changes your life! I know it changed mine! I used to be a rich kid with semi good looks and semi coolness, but then the PS3 came and made me what I am today, a success. Xbox can't do that...ever.

all of the consoles suck bad this gen, very few high quality games to pick from across the board. I could say it's one of the worst gens ever. The only reason why I stick up for sony so much is it at least looks like they are "trying" to please the fans by bring out something a little new or diffrent even if it doesn't meet my expectations, the people bashing them piss me off because it's not like any of the other companies are making any efforts to do a better job.

No I'm not tyring at anything, I am filming a documentary about PS3 and the hatred for it. See I think that there is a group out there, an anti PS3/success group, and they hate everything that the PS3 can do. These people say all consoles are equal and that we should all just get along and systems have the same power blah blah blah, you know what that sounds like? Someone once said that we should all share everything and everyone should think about their neighborh and not themselves, you know who that was? No not Jesus, but Karl Marx! That's what these people are REALLY up to, they hate everything!

People dont actually hate the PS3, personally i love it, its a fantastic console and has some brilliant games. What people do dislike however is its fanboys (people like you TC, incase you dont get it).

PS3 is great.. People know this. But fanboys who prefer other consoles won't agree.

Everyone has different tastes and interests so its subjective.

I would not expect a 5 yr old gamer to glorify Metal Gear Solid 4 or Gears of War 3 as the best games ever made over Zelda:Skyward Sword and Super Mario Land 3D for example.

Want to know why ps3 gets bashed more around here? Why lemmings seem to outnumber cows? It's all about the demographic. The majority of the members of this board are going to be from North America. The 360 sells much better than the ps3 in NA, so obviously their will be more lemmings and more hate on ps3 around here.

Go to a mostly European or Japanese site, and the cows would outnumber the lemmings.

I'd actually go so far as to say the PS3 is viewed in a far more favourable light than the 360 on these forums. And nobody truly hates the PS3 or 360, they're just electronic devices after all.

I'd also imagine that (most of) the people on these forums are the ones that actually have a keen interest in videogames, not superficial alliances with faceless corporations that don't even know they exist.

They go to where the good games are. A real gamer doesn't worry about the home-country of their system of choice.

The ps3 hate goes all the way back to 2007. Remember that the ps2 held the crown last gen, so naturally, 50% or more 360 owners were once ps2 owners. These people bought the 360 because it came out before the ps3, and not being able to afford multiple consoles, these same people constantly need to justify their purchase, or console themselves that their decision to purchase the 360 was a better one than say....waiting for the ps3. The hate has continued ever since.

Pro tip - owners of both the ps3 and 360 do not make a big deal about exclusives. They get to play it either way.

I was surprised to find out that these people were serious about their answer, so I asked why do they only have an xbox and they said they like the parties better.
