The reason Sony can charge $70 for games is simple

kinda hard to fit a big ass game case in your pocket, cartridges are just better all around when it's all said and done.

I'm sure you know this by now, but more than half the posts here on this board are either jest, trolling or flat out lies. You'd be surprised by just how many of these so-called "gamers" don't even own the systems they shill for, haven't played the games at all, hardly play games as a hobby etc.

i mean i dont have problem paying 70bucks for a game as long as its good. other titles have to wait for abit of price drop. gaming is not cheap. some people have to pay thousands of dollar for a gaming rig. whats a mere 70 dollar for a game. even gamepass you have to subscribe to get the service.

$70 is a lot of money and makes the sale prices also higher than they used to be.

I'd be more happy with it if it was shown the money went to the actual developers on the ground because of the time they put in and not just direct into profits of Sony.

This is all nonsense. It’s basically market research and opportunism. And all these games go on sale for pretty aggressive rates within a year or two. Only suckers like me spend full price, so what does it matter if it’s 70? If your game has DLC or gambling mechanics anyway…what difference does it make? Do you want to ask the typical heavy Warframe fan how much they have spent on the game? It’s all relative, and compared to the shenanigans of other publishers, 70 flat rate isn’t horrible.

No one cares how much you paid for games over two decades ago. Most games now are $60. If you are willing to pay more for the same games, more power to you. 😎

While tormentos is a resident in Puerto Rico, the situation over their is still a mess from the hurricane back in 2017 and when the former President Trump took office, he never send aid for Puerto Rico and they been suffering ever since. While I don't want to go political here, this is what I'll say. Puerto Rican government had multiple warehouses full of emergency supplies and never gave them to the people despite the Puerto Rican government is the U.S government from a certain point of view.

and again what has the cost of access to online gaming got to do with the cost of a game.

Like I said show me all the extra money goes to the actual people who developed the game (those sat seating at a desk) and I wont be bothered.

My nephew gets £3 per week pocket money (sometimes £5 if he helps round the house), the extra cost impacts him and many others who cant afford the initial price and the sale price is also impacted.

Its total greed until the show otherwise.
