This screen, along with many othersreleased back in November 2006 created this misconception that Halo 3 is halo 2.5 or Halo 2 in HD. The screen was from a very early build of multiplayer, and it obviously wasn't representative of the final graphics. But fanboys still use it as a basis to form their opinions about Halo 3's graphics. There are still people out there that people still think Halo 3 looks like this. These early pictures began this "Halo 3 looks bad" thing that's been going on all throughout systemwars.
Bungie made a mistake showing these early images, but people can finally see the light again by watching some of the newer videos that have been released showing the near-to-final graphics that are stunning. It's a shame that Halo 3 got this bad reputation just because of these early pics. If only more people saw the great looking side of Halo 3....

Halo 3 looks great. Period. People need to get over those first few initial pictures and see Halo 3 for what it is now. It has changed since then.
