[QUOTE="Tragic_Kingdom7"] [QUOTE="JIT93"] Oh wait, you were serious? All of your things are opinions, young lemming :|JIT93
Before you troop on with your condescending attitude, you might want to learn what a fact actually is.
"We're in a recession and the minimum price for their system is twice as much as their competitors. (Yes, you can get a 360 hdd for $20, so the $199 compression counts)" Fact
"Microsoft has the hardcore in their pocket." This is not exactly a cold hard fact, but parts of it are true. Microsoft has certainly done a better job of getting hardcore gamers to invest in their system.
"Nintendo has the casual and Microsoft is after that to." Fact. There's absolutely no denying that Nintendo has a stronghold on the casual market.
"There Blu-ray players that are $150 now so the Ps3 is not the cheapest blu-ray player on the maket." Unless you can prove this wrong, this is a fact.
7. HDTV sales are down so blu-ray player sales are down, too. Unless this is proved wrong, it is a fact.
I'm not saying his argument is right, but he clearly employed facts (or atleast statements that can be proved wrong or right) more often than you are trying to convey.
1. Got a link for that? 2. Not exactly a fact /=/ fact 3. Link? 4. Like someone said before, I am god, if you can prove me wrong, that is fact 5. Refer to 4 ;)Please read:
That is not what I'm saying. I'm saying that his statements can be proven right or wrong thus they are not opinions. And opinion cannot be proved right or wrong. "I like GTAIV" is an opinion. What the TC provided could be false, but they are NOT opinions. You can prove them right or wrong. When I say "unless this is proved wrong" I mean that if his data cannot be challenged, it is a fact. If what he's saying is shown to be false, it is not a fact. I never said anything different from this. But it is quite incorrect to label all of his statements as statements of opinion.
You're use of the word opinion is just plain wrong.
But I'll concede that the "hardcore in their pocket" thing is not a fact.
