You're not exactly helping your argument. Although it seems like common sense, it is not a fact. It is an educated guess. I assumed that you wouldn't pass that off as fact, because its not. It's not a statement of fact until you can show an undeniable link.

You certainly did give facts, but not all of your statements were facts.

The recession effecting the industry is more of an analysis than a fact. Facts cannot be argued about. You cannot argue the sky is blue, you can argue about the recession pertaining to the industry. It might not be a very good argument, but one can be made.

That last is not a fact. It is an educated assumption. Is it very likely that Sony now has less of a chance of selling? Absolutely? Is it a fact? No. Unless you have a crystal ball, such a thing cannot be seen as fact. It can only be seen as an assumption. Facts are things that are established and undisputable. Like I said not many cacsuals are willing to pay $400 for a console. Sony has lots of casual games that sell millions of copies each time upon release like Singstar, Buzz, and Gran Turismo. When GT releases next year along side a price drop PS3 will sell tons and hit mainstream gamers across the globe.

6 figures is nothing..... $999,999 down to $100,000 That is what 6 figures is. And no one has bothered to point out that 6 figures is chump change....and the original interviewee must have meant 7 figure, as in multi-million campaign and not some 6 figure chump change.

I'm sure MS has to convince people to buy their console as much as Sony does. Everyone probably still has their eye on the Wii, not the 360. And everyone who doesn't own a PS3 or 360 and still wants one or the other most likely has had their mind made up and their just in the saving process. Buying a console is not a decision made just in one night especially if you really cant afford it right away, it's a saving process and most likely is already planned.
