Well they game already released and they announced the DLC a while ago. So idk what else there is really to tell unless Titanfall 2 starts showing up

They announced two new game modes today that will be free and have two or three more map packs coming. Also rumored to give the One version a resolution boost due to June sdk update.

Titanfall still keeping cows attention, obviously

LOL

Weren't the lems saying for months and months that this was going to be the system seller for the Xbone? That it was going to be Halo on steroids and redefine the FPS genre?

Now just 3 months after release, it's already faded into obscurity.

Titanflop

It's still on top of the charts and still being played & enjoyed. I don't understand what cows are expecting here?

Lems talked for months about how the PS4 had no games and how Titanfall would smash anything that Sony had to offer.

Titanfall has been a pretty big disappointment considering all of the hype surrounding it.

So now the PS4 will have Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, The Order, Dark Sorcerer, The Last Guardian, Deep Down, etc.

But hey, at least the Xbone has Titanfall and will soon have yet another run of the mill Halo installment. LOL

I guess Microsoft has never even heard of the word "variety" and will just continue to push out these linear, repetitive first person shooters.

Its funny how people who are on game forums can have no clue about games. The dark sorcerer was a tech demo, not a game. Deep Down is a F2P in Japan only as far as we know. no NA or EU release.

Also EA announced today that Titanfall is the top selling game on xbox one. Over CoD, BF, AC, Watch Dogs, Forza, etc.

As far as variety goes, We seen sunset overdrive, Phantom dust, Scalebound (who knows what it is but sure doesn't look like a shooter), Quantum break, D4, fable legends, Disney fantasia, Dance central, crackdown 3, FH2, and they kicked off indies (if that's your thing) with Limbo 2 and ori and such. Plenty of variety

Guess some people only see what they want

Both systems had a good showing all things considered

I'm curious, how did Titanfall flop? By scoring 9.0? By selling 900k+ as of March?

___

In regards to TC, why would Titanfall be at E3?

Titanfall is a flop because even at best estimate it has sold barely 1million copies in 3 months (only ~200k of them on the PC, lol at least most of us weren't dumb enough to buy it), and a 40-50% price cut on the PC version less than a month ofter launch. And I say estimate on the sales numbers because EA has flat out refused to share any sales data. That alone shows you that it massively underperformed in their eyes. What should you expect, EA called down an orbital strike of positive spin in the months prior to launch, that was bought and paid for by EA marketing money and the gaming press clubbing each other like baby seals in their effort to siphon up the marketing money. Then everyone was bored with the game in 3 weeks, a month tops after launch. Hence the cutting of game modes and even worse performance on their already abysmal matchmaking system. It was mediocre at best to begin with, how they can justify a sequel is beyond me.

This isn't an XBone vs PS4 thing, I'm a PC gamer and I'll flat out tell you Titanfall is crap. I had this predicted six months before launch when the game play videos and info on play counts and bots started making the rounds.

Personal opinion aside (you're more then welcome to think the game sucks) But I have to question your numbers. EA did say they won't announce sales figures for there games anymore. But as of this article (may 7th) http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/134289-Call-of-Duty-Ghosts-is-the-Best-Selling-Game-on-PS4-and-Xbox-One CoD was the top selling game on PS4 and Xbox one. VG charts (not sure how accurate they are) have the XO version just under 2 mil and the PS4 version just over 2 mil. EA announced today that Titanfall is the top selling game on the XO Over CoD http://fansided.com/2014/06/11/titanfall-best-selling-xbox-one-game-date/#!XxRhW

So You'd have to think they are at least at around 2 million and that is just on XO alone, not counting the 360 or the PC. So I think your estimate of Barely a million is way off. It was also the top selling game in march and april (not sure about may but i assume thats watch dogs with 4 million on day 1)

Did the gaming sites miss the booth for this game? Did EA mention anything at their Press Conference yesterday?

The game is exactly 3 months into retail (as of tomorrow 6/11/14) and not even a peep about it? Any new DLC? Expansion packs? Maps? New Titans? ANYTHING?

Last year, the gaming sites and reviewers were throwing every award they could find for it at E3.

What happened? Short attention spans?

Or the most overrated and overhyped game of all time?

They already showed new DLC on Xbox One.

And people were saying Titanfall was coming on PS4 lol

What stuff? The 3 maps in Expedition?

Maybe I missed it?

Seriously - I don't know. I just can't believe this game is 3 months old and it's like invisible.

It got heaped upon with so much praise last E3 and with all the gaming site reviews... but it's completely gone.

Except it still has a large playerbase and still at the top of the sales chart. How many games stay in the top 2 in sales for 2+ months straight like titanfall did? Not many.

maybe on the 360 or combined but xb1 isnt as populated than i thought it would be

well we don't know the numbers, but i haven't had any issues finding a game and the only complaints of low population come from the PC side where it only sold (from estimates) around 200-300k. I'd say its safe to say it has a larger online population on the xbox one then CoD or BF4 has. But i believe CoD has the highest population on the 360

Titanfall just came out a few months ago so it's too old to be showing it off anymore and it hasn't been long enough for a sequel to seriously been underway. What exactly were you expecting?

The DLC we were all expecting plus at least a few words from either EA or MS saying how it's doing. It's in their interest to keep the game in the public eye as they try to build the IP but it seems to have fallen off the Earth.

Personally i have a feeling it's missed it's expected targets.

DLC JUST came out. So you wanted them to waste everyone's time E3 talking about sales instead of just hammering out game after game like they did?

It wasn't just the MS conference, unless i'm wrong i heard nothing from the EA conference.

The first one just came out a few months ago. You expect them to already have a sequel in a presentable format? Games of that calibre take two years to make. They only have one team working on them.
