I have played both versions ALOT so that I can give an unbiased attitude and this is my view.

There is absolutely no difference at all except two!.I really mean that. The lighting is different on both with PS3 looking as if it is a little subdued. It makes the colours look slightly saturated as if the sun is shining to brightly whereas the 360 lighting model makes it look like an arcade game if you know what I mean.

There is no framerate differences and no drops in framerate in both versions. The PS3 vesion is also not sharper like reviews say, I would love to know where they got that from.

It all depends on controller preference if you own both consoles or just get it fot the 1 console you own and be happy knowing the other version is the same.

Thanks.

It doesn't matter which one looks better. Only cows would hype such things. Its the one that plays and feels better that well.....is better.

Sorry but why should we listen to someone from system wars who could be bias, sorry but most reviewers say ps3 version is better, why do you care, you prob wouldn't notice difference anyway

if i had both consoles i would probably get the 360 version because of custom soundtracks. sony need to catch up with the xmb. criterion couldve at least implemented it on their own.

If there is a difference in favour of the PS3, it clearly bothers you, or you wouldn't be posting here. How does that give you an "unbiased attitude"? Just leave it alone dude.

How very true. I use my own eyes. Gametrailers.com has a very nice video that more than confirms it.

The big thing it gives up to the Xbox360 version is custom soundtracks. Visually, it wins.

rofl, am i the only one who chuckled when i read this? for the past year PS3 owners have been hearing nothing BUT this from 360 people because 360 had better multi-plats.

Now a game comes that looks better on PS3 and you care about plays/feels lol

Gametrailers said framerate is better on PS3 too btw, so it also plays better on PS3.

:o

So... let me get this straight...

When the reviews came in saying DMC and AC looked better on the 360, those were fine.

But when the reviews come in saying the PS3 version of Burnout looks better (which is no surprise considering it was the lead platform) then the reviews are LIES!!!!

Interesting.

Actually Criterion said PS3 wasn't theirlead platform. They said they initially had more ppl working on PS3 due to the learning curve but later on they had equal amounts working simoultaneously.

Achievements and custom soundtracks put it way over the top. The grandest saga in gaming history continues...my ever rising gamerscore...as I chill out to my awesome tunes mixed in perfectly with the game's sound effects.

Meanwhile PS3 owners are rocking out to Avril Lavigne and wishing Sony hadn't taken so long to rip off the gamerscore achievement system.

SOOOO yeah. 360 version FTW.

PS: This guy is speaking from the heart unlike these reviewers who have some editor breathing down their neck taking orders from the accountants that take orders from the advertisers.

DMC's not out yet, all we have seen so far are fanboy's claiming too much for either platform. 1up is the only official source, giving the edge to the PS3. Either way, Burnout, according to SW looked like crap on PS3 and great on 360 according to some posters, the exact opposite to other posters.

Now, after GT, Gamespot, 1up and others spoke do we know there is a slight difference in the final build.

We should wait before we claim DMC is better on either platform.

I get your point though, the PS3 isn't going to get an inch from Hardcore fanboy's. Oblivion had an advantage, and we don't hear that even to this day(Yeah, it was in the oven longer, I know).

 achievements? Thats subjective, it doesn't make a game "better". Custom soundtracks are good but I do have an MP3 player or my PC beside me.

Why do you and TC think your opinion is a fact? LMAO speaking from his heart..

JiveT

And that's not the case when the Exact opposite review rolls in, review wise. If Reviewers say the 360 verion is better it's real? But if they say the PS3 version is better, it's accountants and advertisers fault?!!Pleaze.

Anyways, PS3 does have Free Online, which balances out Custom Soundtracks. I do feel that pain though, but I'd hate to know I am buying the "worse" copy of any product If I could help it.

All this guy is saying is the differences in graphics are SUBJECTIVE. I have noticed this already with the screenshots. Yeah they look slightly different but to say one looks better than the other is entirely subjective.

Also free online balances out custom soundtracks? :?

JiveT

Being that I hardly use the Custom Soundtrack(Yes, I have my PC streaming accessing all my albums, still it affects the game Audio adversely many times when I play), yet I play Online all the time, so this could be a personaly point. But Value Wise, Free Online is better than a trivial Soundtrack feature, albeit if there is a time to use it, it would be a Racer.
