lol, that is probably what i will spend on all the components (not counting os) the next time i build a pc.
[QUOTE="menes777"]
[QUOTE="Cranler"] So one not need worry about reqs on a properly built pc from 2005?osirisx3
Building your PC properly means upgrading every once awhile over seven years.
If you don't look at the box then you wont know what kind of pc to build.
If you build the PC right it doesn't matter what's on the box. I can't remember the last time I gave a sh!t about hardware requirements.
The Rolls Royce of this year is next years Lada, and in just two years you will be stuck with an average performing card that pulls an absurd amount of power .
I rather buy a nice Egret II for that kind of money !
So it's the same price as a 690? I don't get it. Don't fancy spending all that cash on one single component TBH
Wait... it has 6GB of VRAM and only draws 250W?? what kind of sorcery is this
Why do they keep making video cards if nobody's releasing games to really push them? Crysis 3 sure isnt it's a console game.
instead of that crap android nvidia handheld should get getting people to make some games to actually push their ''NEW HIGHEND CARDS''.
crysis 3 isnt gonna put the titan at 30 fps at average resolution like a real highend game would.
Some people have way too much money :PSome guy on Neogaf said he ordered 2 of them to arrive on friday :?

doesn't seem worth it, like at all.

You pay the same price as a 690 but it costs less power to run it and 2GB more VRAM. Those kinds of things normally cost a lot more. Then again frame for frame the 690 likely beats it

That and with next gen right around the corner, I would honestly wait.
Unless you have money to blow like crazy, then it's fine although I would prefer they donate some of it to a good cause.
lol.

Yeah right now it's kinda not worth it, most games don't need it. But if you're into the newest stuff then this is one powerhouse.

I think servers and businesses would like it more than a gamer.

This too
This seems more like a workstation card than something you'd buy for games. Good for processing power, yet bad for games.
The main thing I don't like about PC gaming is you always have to check the game box to see if your PC will run it.

The question is, is there actually any game on the market right now (or hell, announced for the next two years) that will actually take advantage of all the additional resources and processing power that this yields? The question is, is there actually any game on the market right now (or hell, announced for the next two years) that will actually take advantage of all the additional resources and processing power that this yields? Yes, it's already outdated.

It's not a card meant for 1080p gamers... but if you're an enthusiast with a very high-res monitor or a surrond setup, you'll definitely put Titan through its paces!
Also, I think I heard somewhere only 10,000 of them were made!
