The second half of the greatest gaming year has begun..

So my fellow system warriors....are you ready to GAME??

It is assumed that the GOTY will release during this half of the year..this could also set the record for most AAA games to release in 6 months..my question to you is...who...will....WIN??

I plan to STOP gaming after Skyrim :P

PC will win.

nintendo 3ds ftw , , picking up the pace and will not stop im picking nintendo , , with mariokart paper mario luigis mansion 2 etc coming from thier stable i dont see how any ones going to put them down for the 10 count ,

we all know nearly all nintnedos games score and when they do it they make the biggest splash dont think so

Forza 4, Gears of War 3, and Uncharted 3 are probably gonna be AAA titles. Resistance 3 will get around an 8.5. Halo HD Will get decent scores. Skyrim will be AAA Along with Battlefield 3. MW3 Will get 9/10 reviews. That is all.

There could be games done better than them. For example, there could be a JRPG that does a better job than Xenogears. There just hasn't been. We really ramped up towards the end of the 90s, but in certain areas we lost all our momentum.

I have been very busy this year, although, surprisingly, not with newer releases. I've been catching up on older games I missed, although I have bought Dead space 2, Pokemon White and Okamiden. But I'm going to be VERY busy in the second half and be VERY broke as well. If things go as planned.

Now that i think about it....this year is pretty awesome isn't it? It's a shame this years E3 was terrible though.

For me personally most of the epicness is being released around the holiday season. Zelda, Kriby, Assassin's creed, Dead Island, Rage... I could go on. This is shaping up to be a great year.

You can only judge the year until after it's over. The sheer amount of games coming off this year increases the chances of having more AAA games than 2010. As for the first half of 2011, We have Witcher 2, Portal 2, Outland, LA Noire, Dirt 3, Mortal Kombat, Infamous 2. All games the have averaged 83% or higher on metacritic. mrmusicman247

I'd rank '92, '93, '94, '95, '96, '97, '98, '01, '04, and '10 far ahead of '11 even if the hyped games of the fall turned out to be good. So far though, I can't even name one game that has come out that has even come close to being generation defining, let alone interesting, and the majority of the games that are supposed to save it are multiplats. Prematurely calling this year the G.O.A.T is like how ESPN ridiculously hypes up a team to only see them crash and burn.

As for greatest gen: Gen 4>Gen 5>Gen 6>Gen 7>Gen 3>Gen 2>Gen 1. I'd call this one to be in the middle of the pack.

Ahh thatnks. Forgot about Arkham City. That will be AAA To. Didn't thing Revalations was coming this year, but I don't think it will be AAA. Might get above an 88% on Meta crit or w/e.
