Have now voted
I remember when we used to have rules about advertising your "running" for the SWA's. Good times seeing people have sigs that to promote themselves for a category.

I got a manticore vote? Thanks finalstar. I'm glad someone sees the real me lol.
lool how did you know it was me? haha i've never seen you say x or y system is better than x or y system so manticore seemed the right place :P
@finalstar2007: check one of the links in the OP. It has all the people who voted hehe.
As for me saying which system is better. I like to think I give credit where credit is due. If it looks good I'll tell you that and vice versa. PS4 is my current multiplat and exclusive machine, while the WiiU is a secondary machine, and I'll get the bone for its worthy exclusives coming out next year.
I got a vote for Biggest Weeaboo Award.
Feels strange.
Heh, heh... ;)
Also I just realized I screwed champ's name up, when I did my spell check accidentally put an alts name in there. :( sorry champ
I got a vote for Biggest Weeaboo Award.
Feels strange.
i got 3 votes for that lmao
I'd just like to put my Fallout 4 thread up for consideration for best thread. I mean, come on. More than a thousand posts. Endless entertainment.
Alright, voted.
Some poor soul voted me as smartest user, that's scraping the barrel bros. To their credit, they spelled my name as CononTheStoner which is awesome.
No votes for me. I tell ya, I'm out of it for a little while and everyone gets delusions of grandeur.

It's okay bro. I know the feeling.

I mean, people are voting @charizard1605 for King. Again. He's a freakin' mod. He's the enemy! How System Wars has fallen.
I really hope I win the Biggest Weeaboo.
Also, @kuu2, just wanted to confirm, that was you who voted in the spreadsheet, right?
@TheEroica: No problem man. I just call it like I see it.
It's kinda cool seeing my name up more than my single vote last year. It means my blowing off work or posting during meetings has finally paid off!
@charizard1605: Hey dude can you correct where you have filled my name in? Click on Summary of responses so far . My votes are the number 2 on 7/12/2015 3:55:37 directly below the Timestamp cell. You have my name filled in on cell 3's votes which are not mine.
@charizard1605: Thanks bro.
@Chozofication in my almost 10 years here, I have never received a vote until this year. Thank you dude.
@cainetao11: The SWA's can be pretty shmeh. We've seen general disdain for them on the board in recent years. A ton of drama comes up. It's just an award, why does it matter?
I, personally, love the Awards. It has the power to strengthen our community in a number of ways. To some users, getting an Award the first time or the fourth time is just whatever. But to some people, like you and me, getting a single vote shows that someone is recognizing our contributions on this board. And sometimes, amidst all the chaos of resolution wars, just knowing that users appreciate your contribution by offering you a vote, or sometimes even just replying, can make you feel good for the rest of the day. It's why, after chaz offered up some criticism on my first proof of the thread banner, I wanted to push that focus on 'community' and grab as many users' profile pics as I could. In my 12 years here, I recognize each of those users (even if some of them change their profile pics often :P )
We are even able to honor a user who passed away this year, inb4uall, with an Award for newer posters, showing that their contributions matter, too.
Hell, I know it's damn silly to take the SWA's seriously, but in many ways I certainly do. I think there's a lot of potential for it to grow into something that recognizes even more users.
@Zassimick: You hit the nail on the head dude. Getting an award really doesnt mean anything. But the fact that someone just put my name in as a vote in a category made me feel like, cool someone recognized I post here. In the end, we all have people we debate with, and some we down right argue with. I can say there isnt really anyone I actually dislike here as I dont truly know all that many here. The few I have gotten to game with and speak with thanks to P2M are good guys even if we have had our differences of opinion on the forum.
I had a tough time picking some categories and couldn't help but think that having nominees would help out with this. Maybe have past winners or maybe mods serve as a board for the awards or something. Then of course we could have write-ins and what not. I think this would help with cutting back on all the blanks in the ballots.
@GoldenElementXL: we discussed nominees a little, or at least the possibility came up in dialog... Thing is, nominees can alienate some who may feel like they deserve a nod. Judging by how hot it's gotten in the past around here, I think the Google docs format works well enough for now being totally open and free of suggestion.
You are right though that depending on your interactions you can really not have much of an opinion in some categories... I left a few blank myself...
Though leaving something blank... Isn't it better than just voting arbitrarily?
I'm glad there is still a pulse to do them. They bring the people together for the holidays...
Also... Xaero4King
