I did? I already mentioned how the PC is the superior graphics machine. I already said this is because you can upgrade your hardware. So......if you can get past trying to show how I owned myself :roll: you'll see that I agree with you. PC games look better because your PC's power can be upgraded at anytime. That's why I don't mention it because it's sorta redundant to do so. When I debate graphics I keep it strictly to consoles because, once again, the PC is known to be the superior graphics machine.

I would hope the PC is the graphics king. There's a new video card released to the market every month. So it's not exactly fair to compare PC to consoles. Besides, now video card venders are making hermits buy 2 of the same video card to get a game to run decent. Talk about milkage.

As far as consoles, the 360 is the king of graphics.

Yeah, but this one's pretty safe, even if the TC is only hyping it because of graphics. The developers behind this game aren't even known for graphics, so if it already looks this good even in a tech demo, it's a good sign. Quantic Dream are masterful storytellers, so graphics are actually pretty irrelevant with them. Indigo Prophecy didn't look spectacular, but it still sucked you in.

Bioshock and, though you don't wanna hear it, Gears. Both use the unreal engine and both run very smoothly. BTW, I'm a PS3 owner and not a 360 owner. I'm just being honest in my opinion. My 500 spent bucks would love to say I own the console that can produce the best graphics but my 20/20 vision won't allow me to say that. For whatever it's worth, I've been hyping Lair as the supposed game that would bring PS3 the best graphics crown and I was wrong. GT5, Uncharted, Killzone, MGS, FF13, UT3, etc are not yet so, as of right now, 360 is the graphics king.

If Lair runs as choppily as everyone says it does, more than just Gears and Bioshock beat it graphically on 360. There's more to a good-looking game than just looking good in pics. If you aren't smooth in motion, there's hardly any point.Zeliard9

lol lair got -A....neways this game is unlike lair, these devs are known for game, not graphics at all, so we might end up wiht sumthign good, but i think ppl really learnt a lesson with lair though

How quaint. All caps. Anyway, I'll wait until it's playable. I've heard from Sony before that something was realtime when it wasn't. And certain stills/instances of a game in real time arne't neccessarily indicative of how the game will look as a whole.

I doubt that it will look that good when it comes out, and if it does its because the games is mostly indoor and cut up into digestable sections.

I don't think she looks that good anyway, i get the feeling that we're going into the uncanny valley with the CG.

Looks good, as good as Crysis? No. Not even close. Have you seen the facial animation in Crysis? It's just as excellent as this. Crysis will have a much more open, vibrant, and realistic world as well.Saturos3091

As for Crysis, well it may not look as good in the end because of the crazy amount of optimization that'll go into it (PC specs vary like gangbusters; a PS3 is a PS3 :) ). However, if Crysis was being developed for only 1 set of specs, then just imagine how good it would turn out... :D

Tech Demos .... I dont care what you say unless you show proof of this being realtime ... this is just as bad as the last Cow's post about the Killzone 2 tech demo being an upgraded version of Killzone 2's graphics awhile back.

Oh and .... its just a room, witha woman ... Crysis overall is still much better than this, this is proof of nothing,

there is a nvidia tech demo of a human head in a room also which looks better than this.....

its not hard to render one or two objects really well. Rendering km's worth of island is stunning near photorealistic quality with unsurpassed physics and interactivity is..
