Honestly, I don't think it would fit the series at all, and it was so out of place in Indiana Jones I don't even know why ND would want that.

Though I wouldn't hate a sequel where Drake slowly succumbs to his obsession and sociopathy and murders all his friends. Somehow that fits even more then aliens.

It needs to be more like Uncharted 2. I liked UC3, but the greater emphasis on melee combat hurt the gunplay, because while you were in the midst of a fistfight, there was literally nothing you could do to defend yourself against other nearby enemies or grenades thanks to the clunky transition between melee and gunfights.

Uncharted 2 on the other hand was close to perfect as far as gameplay is concerned.
