What do you have to say sheep? If you count all the games you can get on either the 360 or PS3 or PC that the Wii doesn't have, it ruins the wiis lineup both currently and for the next year or so. I declare a flop system, but I'd like to hear what you have to say.
I'm getting the Orange Box for my computer. So there's pretty much no loss for me... I'm not interested in playing Halo 3... and even if I were interested in Mass Effect, it's coming to PC sometime in the future.
It's not too late for the Orange box to come to the Wii. The graphics engine can be easily ported to the Wii, and the controls wouldn't be too hard to figure out. It'd make Valve a lot of money.

You're declaring the best-selling system (so far) this gen a flop? Are we in Bizarro World? Has System Wars really come to this? The Orange Box is a fantastic deal, but there are plenty of people (like myself) who can easily live without it (and yes, I havea 360). There are so many other good games out or coming out (Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3, Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy, etc.), I don't think the lack of Orange Box on any system is really a killing blow. Besides, after Galaxy, the Wii still has Smash Bros., and that'll be a much bigger seller than even Orange Box.

His own opinion??? Uh...didn't you read in the Terms of Service that on System Wars, you don't get to have an opinion? If a game scores a 9 or higher, it is automatically better to everyone in the world than a game that scores less.
Am I seriously watching a 360 fanboy try and insult Wii fans by waving the inferior console compilation that contained old PC games that are *still* better graphically, community, mod, and gameplay wise on the PC? At least Wii owners are playing a system that's unique and gets them off the couch - all I hear from 360 owners lately is PC-bashing because "I like to play videogames on my couch" (despite the fact that PC can do this with ease).
So, basically, any platform (PC or Wii) that involves leaving the couch is bad... I think I see the problem.

An article floated on the net about how Valve was asking for 1 million dollars just to port HL2 to any other system. And Nintendo isn't the kind of developer that would pay another company to port a game...

Dude, The Orange Box isnt greatest thing ever. Its a good deal to get five games in one(a lot of people already played two of them), but a lot of people would rather play SMG or SSBB.
QFT. PCWiiDS is the greatest combination at least for me. I'm not that interested with the Orange Box. The Witcher is my most anticipated PC game of this year.

I was being sarcastic (that's why I said "in the world" instead of "in SW"), but yeah, I can't stand this type of discussion. Reviewers are helpful in that they're giving you an opinion before you buy a game, but you can't use them like they're the Bible.

AKA - they're not the type of developer to lift a finger to get a good game to come to/stay on their system. Their downfall with the N64 showed this, as they treated developers like it was a privilege to be able to pay the ridiculous licensing fees to develop on their console. Also shows in the Wii - only console to ever release with a tech deficit while making the creator money out of the gate.

Because we're a consumer and, you know, might demand more of the products we buy? When the competition releases at a loss to bring us better hardware while one company releases with archaic hardware at a gain, we decide we're not brand loyalty robots and, you know, decide we want more.

True, they will have the most exclusives... But what this first year has taught a lot of developers is that, yes, we can make money giving the Wii nothing but shovelware. It'll be interesting to see whether they decide to invest more for a better product when they're cashing in giving you exlusive garbage.
