dude game consoles pull in way more and sell way more games than the PC does.

if you buy a PS3, 360, and Wii for well under 1k which is less than how much a PC guy will spend to upgrade his PC every two year you will still have the far better library and upcoming library than the PC. cheaper and better games.

accuatly, it has so many games that i dont know which ones to buy, on the other hand i only have 2 games coming out for consoles that iam looking foward right now, so id say its a pretty good line up.

how many AAAs came out since NOV 06 for PC compared to all three consoles. and AAs too. consoles win. :P

$10 cheaper big woop and they are the same price as Wii games. If you buy the $400 PS3, $250 Wii, and $250 you only spend $900 total and you have that console for a half decade or more and you will have to upgrade our PC 5+ times to keep it playing the tops games which is another 1k or so.

The Wicher seems to have 10 times the amount of depth of Mass Effect, and The Witcher is no doubt much more of an RPG than Mass Effect, which I'm also looking forward too, but it's a shooter with dialogue trees, and that's what I'm expecting.

The Witcher is getting stellar reviews across the board, and IGN just gave it an 8.5, while a ton of European reviews have scored it into the AAA territory or close. The only 10's Mass Effect will get will be from Xbox Magazines, nothing more.

i had my pc for 3years now, and i just need to upgrade it to play Crysis, i need a 250$ VideoCard, same thing as a wii.

Posting "'re" in response to my post made no sense contextually speaking. Adding "'re" to the word "your" would make for "your're," (your are?) which makes no grammatical sense. Also, if you meant to put something like "-re" (changing the ending of the word) that would also be improper, since "your" isn't a variant of "you," it's only derivative of it.

I interpreted "'re" as a shortened word of some kind (maybe retard ) That wasn't my error, it was yours for not establishing context.

1) The ocnsoles combined are not cheaper, and you need a HDTV or buy another monitor to get full HD experiance.

2) Xbox 360 requies - Wifi / Yearly Fee and soon HDD ... charger pack ect ... so base price is a lie.

3) The added up games do count, the generation starts when the first console starts, thats the rule we obide here , PC has more games obivously, but to add insult to injury it has the most AAA's ( 40 less than consoles combine, including multiplat AAAs ) , and nearly 4 more AAs ... so you fail to recognize not only theres more games but alot more high quality ones.

4) Price isnt the issue here, it has nothing to do with the capabalities of a system.

i dont recall the witcher ever being called a mass effect killer. ppl were excited because it was a promising looking RPG from an unknown dev....but i dont think anyone called it a mass effect killer.

its a great game though...id give it an 8.5. im really enjoying it so far...it really portrays its world very well and theres some great characters there. its not a technical marvel or anything, but alot of love went into it and it shows. some dodgy writing (possibly the result of a bad translation) is the big-ish issue i have with it, though the script is great overall.

but mass effect killer? unless bioware somehow completly and utterly mess up...i really dont think so.

definately check the witcher out though...great game.

like i already said its not cheaper, you can build a pc for around 600-750$(and yes it will play crysis) sure you can go wild and build a 1000$-1300$pc, then it will be more expensive but not everyone can afford those.

its all about taste.

remember you need to buy not only the games and the system but acessories for all 3 diferent plataforms, if you already own a keyboard and a mouse you can use them on anyother pc.

if you own a Wii,360 AND a ps3 you are going to need, diferent controllers (if you just want them for single player then it comes with the bundle but if you dont, then you need 4 controllers for each system thats expensive)

pcs can use both the 360 and the ps3 pad, and even the wiimote.

you dont need to upgrade the pc unless you want to.

all 3 consoles might have more games combined, but they dont have more games that intrest me, so why even bother investing there?

right now there are 2 games that might get my attention outside the pc

I do agree, I havnt played it all the way through even, and I thought the start and most of the game onwards was pretty qeak ( hence why I stopped) .

I don't mind more of the same, I love the D&D mechanics...and frankly I wouldn't understand why it should be changed. Thats the appeal NWN sells itself on...its a D&D adventure. And I don't really mind optimization issues that much, especially since I heard they have been fixed with the expansion. I look forward to making my Fighter/Rogue/Weapon Master character combo. :D
