The Wii got boring for me. Did it for you?

You need to buy games to play games ;)

Think of it like this, if you buy a DVD player and then don't buy DVD's for it you won't be using it much right? Then when you go on a movie forum and say, "help I'm not using my DVD player because I'm not buying DVD's". The people on that forum will laugh at you and tell you to go buy DVD's.

Now, when you come on to System Wars and say the same thing, except switching the DVDs to Wiis you get a bunch of answers on how the Wii sucks, no reason why, it just sucks because it's the Wii. But the rule from the DVDs still applies here, if you don't buy games you won't use your Wii.

So you say you can't find games to buy for your Wii? I can name 10 games that you should have this year, until you get those don't complain to me that you have nothing to play. If I couldn't find fun in at least 5 of these then I wouldn't call myself a hardcore gamer.

2. Brawl
3. Mario Kart
4. De Blob
5. Okami
6. Blast Works
7. Boom Blox
8. MLB Power Pros 08
9. Wario Land
10. World of Goo(Someone will cry foul and say that this is a WiiWare game, and all I have to say to them is play it, play it now)

In the end, if someone buys a DVD player and doesn't buy DVDs you would say that person was pretty foolish right? Well, it's the same scenario with the Wii, the games are there, now play them.

Well the problem is that there have been no new games worth playing in months.

It sounds like the problem is you don't know your product. Just this week World of Goo was released on WiiWare.

I haven't gotten bored of mine, not at all. In fact, my 360 remained practically unplugged for my entire summer.. doesn't mean the 360 was poor of course. If you can get that much for it, and you're really not into what it offers/really can survive on a 360 alone, then just do it.. But i would suggest you make sure you actually know that the wii isn't/can't offer you anymore. The poster above me made a nice list of some good wii games, there are a few others that are not as well known that are pretty cool too.. like pinball hall of fame, tiger woods pga09(good if you like golf!)* or castle of shikigami.

i barely play it really, i dont like it very much. The only reasons im not selling it is because of sin and punishment 2 and a wii zelda and to play mario galaxy from time to time.

the only wii games ive bought this year i regretted, brawl, and warioland, both very meh imo

If you've gotten bored of the Wii, it's your fault not Nintendo's, the Wii's or 3rd Parties'. If you bought a system without really investigating what you wanted and if you could meet those needs from that system it's your fault. As another poster mentioned, there have been plenty of good Wii games released this year alone. NMH, MK, SMBB, De Blob, Boom Blox, Okami, Endless Ocean, SM Sluggers, Warioland, Sam & Max, plus more. Now if those aren't your type of games, fine, but they're still good games that plenty of people who did look at the Wii's library when they made their purchasing choice are perfectly happy with.

I could make a thread about how bored I am with my 360, how I haven't bought a game since NG2. However, I knew when I bought my system what games I wanted and why I was buying it. Therefore I don't mind that I'm waiting for another 360 game I want to play.

I own all 3 systems and there's not an unlimited amount of time to play games. Compared to the other two consoles the Wii's games just aren't up on the priority list. My Wii goes long stretches of time without being played. Every few months there'll be a game that I feel like I need to play... then, for long periods of time, nothing.

These next few months I could choose to play Fable 2, Banjo, Fallout, Resistance, Gears, Dead Space, LBP and quite a few other games for the 360 and PS3 all within the next two months.... or..... what for the Wii?

I have no connection to any of these plastic boxes. It's not my fault more good games aren't being made for the Wii. It's not like I'm getting rid of mine or anything, it just doesn't get the amount of awesome games the other consoles get.

yesterday i got a new ps3 opend the box looked at it and it bored me to death so i returned it
