The Wii as you know is the best video game console in existence and currently no other console has been SOLD OUT at thousands of retail stores as quickly with the prolonged productivly as the Wii has. It would take a miracle for ANY new system and product to match the Wii's success. You can **** and moan about the graphical capabilities and family and unique oriented games but that's what sells. Nintendo was VERY smart to actually listen to lifetime gamers *as myself*who have strived for Nintendo to dominate the gaming industry again.

Yep, NES and SNES appealed to everyone, so Nintendo went with that approach, and look what it got them. Another best selling console just like the old days.

The wii doesn't have RE5, VF5, Soul Calibur VI, SFVI, GTA V, DMC 4, and so on... Infact those games could barely run on the wii *looks at Dead Rising*..

I can understand the wii is a great console an all.

But I was sucked in the the huge hype hurricane that surrounded it, got one, and now its just sat there collecting dust right now.

There are some good games out there, but as a shooter fan nothing will ever compare to COD4, killzone 2, gears 2, resistance 2, SOCOM, warhawk ect.

The online multiplayer is just not there. Its a good system, but its not for me...

Dude if it wasnt for my MOM and DAD to buy an atari and play video games then I would never have even started as early as I did. So your little softcore bs is doing nothing for your argument. Every system out right now has a load of crap for games on it and there is no way you can just single out one system over the other for that. Everyone has a DVD player/PS2 for the most part these days and they can use those to watch movies. HD is just now catching on and by the time Nintendo starts losing popularity and profits they will be releasing a new console that is unlike anything anyone has ever seen.

Yea I can admit that the Wii is selling incredible.

But I see it this way, it is a shame Nintendo is making all this money and are doing casual games and Cube Wiimakes.

The other two while not selling as well as the Wii offer more in the games department, which truly matters.

yea, games like ratchet and clank: TOD/quest for booty, Wipeout HD, Gran Turismo 5 prologue etc.. all quite bdaly underrated here imo.

Ps3 and 360 had more 8 and above games on metacritic in 2008 than the total wii library.How has the wii destroyed them again??.Sales?Ya glad to know you can play them.Seriouslt tc remove your gogs and get a ps3 or 360 and see your gaming standards improve

Some never considered themselves in a battle, some are just out to have a good time via gaming. Just happens for myself the Wii bored me with ease.
