Yeah, I really regret buying a Wii now. I never research games or even look at the box before I buy them, since I am a total idiot. So I end up with heaps of crap Wii games. I blame Nintendo since they should ban these games from their system and thus reduce their profits.chutup

I think they are using the term "AAA" as in Decent games Because Yes the Wii has more garbage games that it does decent games.

The 360 on the other hand has far more decent games than it does garbage ones, hell even the PS3 does.

so i will finish just by saying: more features doesn't mean "better tech" , by your logic a ps2 with a microwave add-on will make the ps2 the most advanced thing ever!

The PS1 never had as much crap in large quantity's as the Wii, there was a much more forgiving balance.

I'm not saying you need it. I'm saying otherwise you'll have less features. The reason why the PS3 costs more is because it has Blu-Ray built in while the 360 does not have HD DVD built in.

The crap is deinfitely piling up. This is probably the worst time to be a Wii-only owner.

When I went to the forums for Xbox 360, there was Halo 3 fever, new Mass Effect videos, early Orange Box reviews, and upcoming Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty 4 previews.

Then I looked at the Wii forums, and all they had was Dewey pictures, a new confirmed Smash Bros. character (lol), news of a delay to 2008, and some Zack and Wiki pics. Now, that is not what I want as a gamer. Terrible job, Nintendo

I have to say I am disappointed in the quality of Wii games.
I borrowed the Wii from a friend and loved Wii Sports. It was innovative and fun so I bought a Wii recently.

However, most everything I played was of average to below-average quality.

WiiPlay is good and Paper Mario is fun, though so far the difficulty is rather low.

Disappointing games so far:
Call of Duty 3 - hard to control - can't skip cut scenes
Mario Strikers - nothing really new except stopping the PowerShots with the goalie.
Mario Party 8 - again, no real innovation and some really inane mini-games like cranking a flag up a pole
Bleach - basically equivalent to the Gamecube version except more characters,had no new features and didn't even have better graphics

I'm really glad that Nintendo came up with a innovating console and is back in the spotlight, but they really need better games.

The "Seal of Quality" was a gimmick. It was put on their boxes just like a guarantee is stamped onto an auto-part box simply to ease the mind of the consumer, and not really to ensure the quality of their product. Their seal of quality didn't mean that their games were going to be good. It simply meant that they were licensed properly, so the consumer could know that what they are buying is a LICENSED game. The use of the word "quality" was simply used to trick the average consumer into thinking that Nintendo was assuring some level of consumer satisfaction with the enjoyment factor of their games. In reality, that's not the case whatsoever. It was just a tactical move to get rid of the rabid piracy that destroyed gaming in the years before the NES. Is it necessary today? No. Not at all.

I almost forgot: About the "delayed until 2008" thing for SSBB, having a GTA IV sig is a blazing irony when talking about that.

And there were plenty of previews to go along with the new character (Sonic is big news for the game, LOL) in SSBB. Also, enter SW, and you find quite a few picture threads daily with Uncharted, Crysis, etc. Anyway, there have been new videos for Super Mario Galaxy.

SUper Mario Galaxy is AAA...
