There's no way you can tell me that game reviews are anything BUT opinions. No. I can. Because it goes into assanine and unimportant stuff like "graphics", "controls", and "length". Instead of scoring it on just "whether the person enjoyed playing it or not". Most reviews try to be as objective as possible. A long game doesn't make a good game. Games should be as long as they can while remaining enjoyable... and enjoyment is subjective. Visual appeal is subjective. I could easily say that Okami for PS2 looks better than Uncharted. It isn't as technically impressive, but art styIe has to be taken into account. And enjoyment of controls is again subjective. Not everyone likes motion controls, not everyone likes the 360 controller, whatever.[QUOTE="savebattery"][QUOTE="nhh18"]Game Industry is hardly an opinoin which is why there aren't 2 out of 10 for games like gta 4, or killzone 2. Games that score in the 90s aren't because whether or not they enjoyed the game but whether the production values, lenght, and other parts of the game are amazing. It isn't like a movie review where they can actually have an opinion. An AAA game is the equivalent toa blockbuster in a summer movie in terms of production costs and polish.
