The Wii is cute sometimes :lol:

Has there ever been any other system with so much shovelware in its first year? 3rd parties have always been a joke when talking about Nintendo systems, but they have been able to take it to a whole new level with the Wii. WIth its outdated hardware and gimmicky controls, and most importantly - its substantial userbase of children and grandparents, 3rd parties are able to put out whatever they want on the system.

How sheep here are able to put up with it is beyond me. Most gamers play to enjoy good, fun video games, yet Wii owners are only able to get this with Nintendo's 1 big game a year. SMG was a fun and entertaining game, but after the 5-7 days it takes you to beat it, what else is there to play the other 51 weeks in the year?.. The Legend of rehash: better on gc?

Alas, Wii owners are forced to eventually turn to 3rd party during Nintendo's infamous game droughts. Its just a shame that these 3rd party devs are realizing (in much the same fashion as Nintendo has) that you can literally put anything out on the Wii as long as it is cartoony and kiddy and it will sell to these children and grandparents alike.

Oh well, back to offroad extreme I guess...

I disagree. Nintendo sports the most ignorant fanboys. A lot of nintendo fans have never played a game in high resolution or think that pro logic 2 is the same as dolby digital, crap like that. They play to many nintendo games and really can not speak on other systems becouse they have no clue. These are the people who still play 16 bit era games like that was the greatest era in gaming, and refuse to let go.

Sony fanboys are just in total denial at the present time. They know what good next gen games are, they are just in denial about what is currently avaliable on the system. I am a sony fan but I am not in denial. I am hanging on to me ps3 like grim death because there are going to be exclusives I want to play. But the dominance of sony is already a thing of the past. It will never recapture its glory days with the ps3.

and Mario Kart Wii, No More Heros, deBlob and most importantly Mushroom Men. those 4 plus SSBB is plenty enough to keep me happy through out the year. Although Im sure I'll pick up atleast 4-5 more good Wii games during the year,along with those I didn't get last year.

and Mario Kart Wii, No More Heros, deBlob and most importantly Mushroom Men. those 4 plus SSBB is plenty enough to keep me happy through out the year. Although Im sure I'll pick up atleast 4-5 more good Wii games during the year,along with those I didn't get last year.

The hardest to pin down for me these days are the 360 fanboys. I think I would call the 360 fanboy the most noobish. They think they are masters of the shooter and the fanboy has never ever played a PC game.

PC fanboys are the most arrogant. There are fewer PC fanboys then anything though. True hardcore PC only gamers probably never visit a forum like this in the first place.

I own all 4 systems, all the consoles and a gaming PC. All I can say for sure is there is 0 point in owning all the platforms. At any given time two of my systems are just collecting dust. I will not however trade them in. Bought and payed for I may as well just hang on to all of them.

Even though I like the Wii I would consider myself a Wii hater. A hater even though the next game I buy will be No more Heroes for the wii. But I only hate the Wii because of Nintendo fans and how they constantly over rate the system.

Last I checked Fatal Fram 4 is still coming to the Wii. I admit I may be one of the only 10 gamers who love fatal frame but I am pumped for that.

Ya whenever Nintendo fans argue the line-up its a joke.

It is still worth owning a Wii if you like and FINISH your sp games though. If you buy sp games and rarely finish them becouse your mp games distract you dont bother.

If however you buy and finish your sp games if you get a Wii now they will be plenty of games to keep you going, as long as you can over look the character faults.
