Oh by the way here is a list of some fads of the past several years. Note that many of these lasted well over a couple of years indicating length has nothing to do with the perception of being a fad.

All of these give me nightmares. However, ive been gaming all my life, but the Wii doesnt give me nightmares. I hardly think that you can call the Wii a fad unless you also call the PS2 a fad.
