The Wii is a horrible gimmick that will end up in your closet next to that old Sega Saturn and Turbografix 16...and Wii Fit??? Give me a break...I play games to have mind numbing hours of fun...if I want to work out I'll go to a gym and lift or play ball somewhere!!! But then again, their targeted "casual" gamer demographic is the "stay-at-home mom that bakes goodies and watches Maury and Oprah" all day...ha ha ha...

greatness,quality,epic,inovative,amzing,spellbinding,fantastic...

these are all things that describe the nintendo wii and nintendo in general. And i firmly belive more will be added to the ist in the future.

back before the wii was announced people were spectulating on what nintendo had to offer. people were worried and some people were not worried at all. the wii mote was announced and the rest as they say is history.

now the wii leads in rate of sells and will soon overtake the 360. wii fit is the epitome of what nintendo plans with the wii. to expand the way we, as gamers, look at games. wii fit is the begining of the shift to a totally sense of relism never before seen in games. nintendo is going to give what all gamers hae been asking for:innovation

Well i believe nintendo saide even before all of this next gen began that they wanted to make gaming playable by anyone who can pick up a remote.we all know alot of older people went out and bought a wii for themselves,but how many of you have herd older people talking about the 360 or ps3? nintendo knew they had this from the start,all because they know and older/younger generation will be more likely to want a wii simply for the fact that its cheap,affordable,and simple to handle.no complex controls for a pick up and play with everyone all around fun time.as for what youre saying about why would devs wanna spend millions on a game for ps3 or 360 when they can just make some simple little games for wii? well i was thinking about it and most of the major gaming companies make games that get respectful scores for their games.as for and not always but forsmaller companies trying to get out their with a smaller budget seem to just turn out crap games.would you really care if they just kinda gave up on sony and ms,and just went to wii to publish their smaller games for the Wii? i would rather have these smaller companies publishing games that are fun,but not worth 60 bucks on the wii.you can get these games at a cheaper price making maybe a lower scoring game not so painful to buy.as for games like tony hawk,far cry, or other popular games that have lame gameplay or low scores will always still be around on 360 and ps3 just for the reason mainstream gamers knows these titles,played them before and will buy them again. they have established a fan base and they dont want to limit these games to just the wii..... the wii cannot preform the graphics,ai,physics the ps3/360 can do.they know their fan base is going to want a nice next gen feel to games they love and they will only be able to get these games with next gen polish on the 360/ or ps3. so i think thats the main reason why the Wii cannot drag the other consoles down. another reason why the wii isnt killing gaming is cause of PC gaming.Altho im not a pc gamer i have to thank pc gaming! if it wasnt for the advancement in pc gaming tech then we wouldnt be asking for these far crys,or call of dutys on our gaming systems.for games to be ported from a pc a console has to be able to keep up to atlest its mid range standards.The wii cannot do this.so as long as theres demand for next gen graphics and advancment in the pc area such as dx10.then nintend will not hold back the other consoles this gen.

there are plenty of games like zelda , spm,and alot of others. wii fit is going to change the way people look at gaming and that is a fact

well it could change everything including the definition of a gamer.

I mean come on, no one likes Counter-Strike or Final Fantasy or Halo or Grand Theft Auto.

Honestly, WHO CARES about hardcore gamers?

I completely agree that Nintendo DOESN'T give a crap about hardcore gamers. THAT is why they are winning. They want EVERYONE to have a chance to play video games, not just them! I'm a gamer myself, but if I ever get to the point of becoming a "hardcore gamer", I feel like killing myself. I just want to have fun. Hardcore gamers need to get a life.

Hardcore gamers want better graphics and not what they call "stupid gimmicks". Well if Nintendo were to follow that point of view, they would just keep on going the same kind of systems. Not changing the controller setups or anything. Just making the graphics better and all that junk. However, people will eventually get tired of buying Next Generation Consoles just to play the stupid sequal of a stupid franchise. Especially if the new system costs over $300.
