When the entire industry is right behind you doing what you are doing after you showed them how to be successful, then i can see the WiiU being revolutionary just like almost every other Nintendo product has been.

As always Nintendo is the company moving gaming forward. The wii pad is a amzaing controler which will change gaming forever. Haters are always fun to lol at with all there ridiculous complates.

Well there's no denying that Nintendo did redefine gaming many times, both in controller as well as game terms. The question is just if the tablet pad will really improve the experience or make you just want a "normal" controller instead.

SEGA Dreamcast had two Motion controllers like the Fishing Rod which was used for Fishing games and it could be used for some fighting games. The Maracas controller which was used in Samba de Amigo.

This picture is the Sidewinder FreestyIe Pro which was a motion controller similar to the Sixaxis and was released in 1998.

Seriously though, this "revolutionary" thing is sounding a lot like the dribble heard on the Apple-obessed fan pages of the internet. They did nothing new, they did what they did well, but nothing new. If you mean "revolutionizing" the fact that every soccer mom/grandma/grampa has one, then yes, nintendo broke the door down for casuals for sure. As far as people I know that spend a lot of time "gaming", not one, SINGLE person owns a wii. I do, don't play it much but I still have it.

Come back when it's mostly adults playing your "revolutionary" games/systems, cause as far as I have seen, ever since PS1 launched, nintendo has become the system of choice for parents.. you know every, single retirement home in my town, has a wii, same goes for every SINGLE elementary school as well. You know how many high schools/bars/nightclubs/sportsbars have them? not a single one. Hmmm... whats going on there?
