It didn't do anything to push game really nor did it improve over the Gamecube.

Wii had a bad online service like on the GC as well.

No DVD player

Same graphics and processing power as the GC as well.

The Wii never needed to exist as it did nothing groundbreaking during its existance.

Honestly the Online Play is the EXACT same on all 3 systems. The only thing missing is a friends list, message box and notifier that a friend is on. Is that what makes online bad?

Not sure if srs.

The Wii is the weakest console and it bought casuals to Wii Play, Dance and Fitness games...

Can they be called games?

The point is, there had to be some mario, zelda and pokemon around for the younger audience and fans to enjoy.
I grew up with mario and I don't particularly want some kids to miss out on the experience.

Nothing the Wii can do, that 360 and PS3 can't do.
Nintendo is only good for Nintendo games, marketting, and bringing in the casuals.

O. M. G. Do you know anythig. Like, at all. Even a little bit. Is there a semblance of information up there? Just a hollow cranium? No stored data about any subject ever to have existed since like...existence? Okay whew!......thought so.

Wow, this is a unique and inventive thread. I've seen this a thousand times before, and ultimately it comes down to what you like and what you don't. I love Nintendo's 1st part games, so I loved the Wii.

The Wii did do something revolutionary, whether you like it or not: motion controls.

It did something else though too. It proved that a console that doesn't focus on graphics and power can hold its own in the market.

If Nintendo successfully uses Wii profit to acquire most of the 3rd party support that made Sony and MS somewhat credible, would it be unnecessary then?
