The worst games you regret buying?

I expect the thread to be filled with this, and the topic will quickly get derailed in a heart beat. But I'm going to say Sf4 and MvC3, for obvious reasons.

Perhaps you guys got overhyped by all of the positive attention it was getting and were underwhelmed? 

Far Cry 2.

I don't know what I was expecting, and I only bought it for like 5 bucks, but I do wish I never wasted the cash tbh.

Oh and GTA IV as well only because I could barely get it to work at times for some odd reason, even with mods. Funny thing is when it did work I didn't like it either. :(

Witcher 1 is okay... but I can totally understand why ppl would hate it.

I almost got to that point as well with all the stupid side quests and the freaking swamp area. Oh and not to mention RPG lite elements.

I agree with that. I don't really hate any game as they all have some redeeming features (well from the ones I buy), but I certainly can and will call them out in my own hard ball opinion. Some are greatly overhyped but I don't consider any of them bad at all really, just definitely not as good as people claim imo.

Honestly the only game where I can't find any redemption to at all (and that is definitely pushing it) is Far Cry 2 for the most part. That thing was painful for me.

The last game that I truly regretted buying was Dragon Age 2.

Which is funny because I actually like that kind of stuff too (although by the vid its got its own vibe as well). Metalocalypse is pretty awesome. :)

I always hear the disgaea games are great and i played that prinny psp game which I liked.

Red Steel and Spyro Orange (I didn't purchase it I got it as a gift and it was bundled with Metroid Zero Mission)

Those are the only two games I didn't like and those are also the only two games I sold.

StormRise, Chroncles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena, and a bunch of other games that are just simply bad games that I bought without much thought.

CoD4 was probably my worst purchase of last gen.

The campaign took me like 3 hours to beat, and CoD multiplayer is just awful. Far too shallow for me.
