The worst games you regret buying?

LA Noire. Such a boring game for me. I get what they were trying to do, but god damn was I bored. I'll probably say Rage simply because the game just abruptly ends. The game had a lot of potential, too bad Id only made half a game. HoolaHoopMan

Yeah, I actually got it because everyone said it was awesome and all that crap, and it was cheap on direct2drive. You know... that peer pressure. :P

Once I played it though, I realized it was GTA again, and instantly hated myself for buying that turd.Even the lol moments just weren't lol enough to me.

Then SR 3 came out, and made GTA look like sh*t imo since it actually had those lol moments.

Easily one of the worst games that I've played this gen. I literally could not get through an hour.

FFXIII...Oh god

Eschalon Book 1 & 2: These games try way too hard to be old school for the sake of being old school. 

Avernum: I don't get the appeal of these games, the writing is bad, the area design is sparse, and the game is filled to the brim with trash combat.

Hammerfight: I don't even know what this game is trying to accomplish, its that bad.

Spec Ops the Line: This one was free, but I still don't like it. The game has awesome concepts, but holy hell I can't stand cover shooters. The only ones I own aside from this are Alpha Protocol, Mass Effect 1 and 2, and I think that is 3 too many.

Xcom Bundle: I barely have the patience to deal with strategy games today, the old ones are pretty much unplayable. These ones are no different.

Soulbringer: The game has an awesome concept and an interesting combat system. Too bad the text is too small to read in anything but the smallest resolutions which make the game blurry as hell.

CoD4 was probably my worst purchase of last gen.

The campaign took me like 3 hours to beat, and CoD multiplayer is just awful. Far too shallow for me.

Army of Two , Two Worlds 2 , Elder Scrolls Oblivion , Rage , Fallout 3 and new vegas , Dead Island , Alpha Protocol and that's it i guess.

Looking at it now , it's pretty safe to say i hate boring rpgs with unintersting skill development , vast lands of nothingness and underwhelming story , oh , and glitched.

I liked the original CoDs for their WW2 campaigns. The MP I never thought was good at all.

CoD4's campaign just took the game from awesome, epic, WW2 battles to close quarters, waist-high wall whack-a-mole shooting :( I never bothered with CoD after that except when someone invited me to play CoD Zombies, but even that I thought was ultra-lame considering I have Killing Floor which is just amazing for zombie horde co-op.

For the 360- Crackdown 2

For the Wii- The Wii. If I have to pick a game it would be Red Stelle

For the PS3- GT5. Game is a piece of shit.

Multiplat- Duke Nukem.

Overall- GT5. Game is a crapfest. Can't hold a candle to todays best racing games.

Yea but that attracts some people. There games are basicly made for those people in mind. Every trailer basicly always has the "this is the super duper grind game" joke.

I did find the galaxy games to be overhyped. I wouldn't say they were bad, but they didn't meet the bar I had set for them.

I played mario galaxy and nearly fell asleep. I just found it so dang boring.

I don't regret any purchase. I can fully play through good or bad games and not feel like I wasted my money, though I am one to spend my money cautiously.
