2009 has been the year of the triple, 3 year after its launch. 2009 for the 360 was the year of the expansion packs (ODST, Episodes from LC, etc.) 2009 for the Wii...Wii Fit? Wii Sports? Wii Wii?
While the 360 may have not had a great year exclusives-wise, I feel it still had a great year. If you ask me, I prefer the PS3 exclusives released this year over the 360 exclusives released this year. Of course, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and the 360 had a great year as well.
The PS3 one this year hands down. Look at it this way the PS3 had an AAA exclusive FPS, TPS, Sandbox, RPG, and sports title no other console this year can claim this.
According to sales of software 360 >>>>>> PS3, so nothe 360didn't get owned.

If Sales matter then Barbie Dolls >>> 360 Not true. They're completely different products. Comparing the 360 to the PS3, sales wise, is fair. Comparing Barbie to other dolls is fair. By the way, are cows hiding behind Barbie now? Did you guys drop the PC, or you still use that from time to time? Take away the 360's year head start and the console would be dead even right now. The PS3 is selling at the same pace the 360 was. Lemmings need to get over themselves, the 360 is ahead of the PS3 because they had a year headstart. They were at 10 million before the PS3 even hit store shelves:roll:
I went with the ps3 winning. i'm not saying saleswise though, i just think it's improved the most i.e great exclusives popping out year 'round, price drop, better sales and marketing

Dragon Age Origins for PS3 got a 9. The 360 version got an 8.5
I enjoyed Halo Wars, sure it's not a hardcore RTS but console RTS need to start somewhere. Like they say, you gotta crawl before you can walk. The Lost and Damned was also one of my favorite games, call it an expansion but that just makes everything else look worse. Only PS3 game I really enjoyed was Uncharted 2, thought inFamous was as repetitive as Assassin's Creed (the first one) and Killzone 2 just couldn't keep me playing with it's "recoil" and "weight" which were non-existant, but oh well. It's a Sony exclusive so it's going to get praise regardless.
