I have played FPS for along time. I think FPS plays better on a console now. I can't get into the whole keyboard and mouse thing. The only down side I see is the slightly better visuals. But the Xbox for example I can hardly tell the difference. I mean who really likes to play FPS on PC? What do you like about it?Cityboy_

PC is still the best for FPSs.

I have a PS3 and a Wii and play 360 frequently with friends, yes and I play FPS on it. I don't even have a computer capable of gaming anything above the technical level of The Orange Box. And the keyboard and mouse setup is miles better....

Depends on the games today. To be honest, there are tons of PC FPSs but a lot of the big budget titles seem to be console ports. Sad for the PC.

I like PC shooters; console shooters rely too much on auto aim and aim assists etc... and concessions made due to the lack of buttons...

I really wish they would make a game that allows PC vs 360. Then we can put this argument to rest at lastIantheone

With a PC, the biggest advantage is that as long as someone has a server set up, you can still play. There are still Quake 2 servers out there that see heavy traffic.

Try playing Halo 2 online here in a few months.

Of course, a few companies who shall remain nameless are trying to take that advantage away from PC gamers.

You say FPS on console have fianlly passed the pc... yet you cant get a hang of keyboard and mouse? I know everyone has there preference, but if you have been gaming on the pc for awhile then you would have gotten use to keyboard and mouse.

- Dedicated servers

- User made content (new levels, new campaigns, new mods,etc..)

- Better graphics (go play Crysis and tell me that barely looks better then console? try some multiplats and the difference is not that small)

- Keyboard and Mouse controls.. PLUS you have the option to use ANY CONTROLLER that you want! ps1, ps2, xbox360,etc..

- HUGE back catelogue of games

- Older games dont die after a few years (example of this is counterstrike, Call Of Duty1, Battlefield,etc..)

I love gaming on both consoles and PC, but come on now..

FPS was invented on the PC for the PC, not consoles.

Im sorry but here on SW people are stuborn, hardheaded and close minded. I have "been there and done it" with pc gaming. I was in the top rankings at one time. I played 24hrs a day sometimes 2 days straight. I know PC gaming.

YES they have user made mods,maps. YES most extra content is free. YES MOUSE "NOT KEYBOARD to me" is better than controller.

BUT NOW Im 100% console. The PC gaming was only about 4 years of my life. The other years have been console. Console is made for gaming. You buy one machine and it will play the game every time. Controller works right as you hook it up, no configuring needed". Downloads are fast and idiot proof. Graphics are pretty much on par with PC games. ONline is now just as good. Maybe not as many people in the match, but to me thats a good thing.

Controles are totally opinion. Ease of use and plugNplay are fact. I love my pc and im on it hours a day every day. BUT im sorry...This argument goes on and on every other day and its the same replies every single time. eh, im going to just make this whole thing my sig.that way I dont have to repeat.
